James 4:14 KJV
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
How do you measure a vapour, a simple cloud of steam? How can we, as individuals, comprehend the time a mist is created to when it is full-bodied and then quickly disappears?
It is said, we will find it is common with people not to apply to Yeshua till they have tried in vain all other helpers. And see them, as undoubtedly they will, physicians of no value. Some run to diversions; others plunge into business, or even into intemperance.
Others go about to establish their own righteousness or torment themselves by vain superstitions. Many perish in these ways, but none will ever find rest to the soul by such devices.
While those, whom Yeshua heals of the disease of sin, find in themselves an entire change for the better. As secret acts of sin, so secret acts of faith, are known to Yeshua.
I wrote about the consequences of being distracted or diverted from the Lord’s Table, teachings, love and forgiveness. I was told what I am revealing is mythical nonsense. From that statement, I realized the true nature of the many who believe in this manner. My heart sunk. I became emotional and filled with despair.
At my age (74), mortality is a part of my everyday routine, as friends, acquaintances daily over the past two or three years have passed on. The thought immediately arose as a simple question. If those who have passed realized how quickly life had progressed? I had never fully understood the purpose of relating the population of the world in Noah’s day, prior to the flood, were living life to the fullest partying marrying and generally multiplying their sins.
Completely unaware of the eminate consequences of their unrighteousness and rebuttal of God and His laws. Man’s ego, worldly knowledge and innate ability to create mental states of mind believing to be wise and too late as fools will [like the vapour] physically disappear into eternity. “It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.”
Please remember these articles are the work of a humble servant of Yeshua doing HIs bidding as a Watchmen sounding the Trumpet to warn of impending danger within the Assembly. May our Father abundantly bless each one of you with wisdom and discernment to go forward as “Modern Day Disciples.”
Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee, Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Yeshua is everlasting strength. (Isaiah 26:3-4)
