“BE BEACONS NOT BULL HORNS!”
Philippians 4:6-9
[6]Be careful about nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
[7] And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
[8] Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
[9] Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do and the God of peace shall be with you.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
Those things, which you have learned, received, and heard, do. Paul turns from contemplation to practical life: we must now translate into action the lessons we have received from the Holy Spirit.
Yeshua (Jesus Christ) taught not by word only, but by being a living example; the crowds saw in him when present, and heard of him when he was absent, a pattern of the Christian life.
And the God of peace shall be with you. God dwells with those who think holy thoughts and live holy lives; and with him comes the peace which is his, which he giveth (Romans 15:33)..
Believers learn anything demonstrated as good for our deceived neighbours: “If there be any virtue, think of those things–imitate them in what is truly excellent among them, but do not let them outdo you in any instance of goodness”
We should not be ashamed to learn the good things of lost men, or those who have not our advantages. Virtue has its praise and will have.
We should walk in all the ways of virtue, and abide therein and then, whether our praise is of men or not, it will be of God, (Romans 2:29).
Those things which you have learned, and received, and heard, do. What they saw in Paul was the same thing as what they heard from him. He could propose himself as well as his doctrine to their imitation. It gives a great force to what we say to others when we can appeal to what they have seen in us. And this is the way to have our God of peace with us–by keeping close to our duty to him. The Lord is with us while we are with him.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
To dispel misinformation, Conspiracy Theories, and quell panic, our objective must be to, “be beacons, not bull horns” (as stated by Bunnie Rombough).
Here we have divers’ short exhortations, that will not burden our memories, but will be of great use to direct the motions of our hearts and lives; for the duties are of great importance, and we may observe how they are connected together and have a dependence upon one another
- Rejoice evermore, 1 Thessalonians 5:16. This must be understood of spiritual joy; for we must rejoice in our creature-comforts as if we rejoiced not, and must not expect to live many years, and rejoice in them all; but, if we do rejoice in God, we may do that evermore.
In him our joy will be full; and it is our fault if we have not a continual feast. If we are sorrowful upon any worldly account, yet still we may always rejoice 2 Corinthians 6:10. Note, A religious life is a pleasant life, it is a life of constant joy
- Pray without ceasing, 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Note, the way to rejoice evermore is to pray without ceasing. We should rejoice more if we prayed more.
We should keep up stated times for prayer, and continue instant in prayer. We should pray always, and not faint: pray without weariness, and continue in prayer, till we come to that world where prayer shall be swallowed up in praise.
The meaning is not that men should do nothing but pray, but that nothing else we do should hinder prayer in its proper season. Prayer will help forward and not hinder all other lawful business, and every good work
- In everything give thanks, 1 Thessalonians 5:18. If we pray without ceasing, we shall not want to be thankful for everything. As we must in everything make our requests known to God by supplications, so do not omit thanksgiving, Philemon 4:6.
It is here where I cannot emphasize enough by having, knowing, standing and living within the true meaning of abiding in our Lord, we will recognize and live the full protection, the three gifts received in Psalms 91:9-16 are providing which in turn allows us to become Beacons.
We are then able to move forward within the knowledge, no matter what is presented to us as worldly ultimatums (Vaccines, Internment camps, loss of our material goods and wealth) in order to relinquish or compromise our walk and faith in Yeshua will fail.
Having, now exercised our faith and continued in what was taught and revealed in Psalms 91: 1-2. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Highest shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2). I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
1). Our discernment should kick in here to reinforce our understanding of why the Lord taught and cautioned not to be attached to the world.
2). Here our knowledge should kick in of why we need to utilize the tools of the world to sustain our families and lives but not to develop any attachments or dependence on them.
3). It is here where our wisdom garnered through the Holy Spirit reveals our strength’s, so we can defeat all future temptations and wiles and fiery darts, of the enemy, to have us bow our knee at Satan’s altar.
4). It is here where our understanding reveals who our real enemy is so we can with spiritual control defeat them.
Please recognize the world is becoming a darker place and from that darkness we will receive videos, to create fear, panic and confusion amongst the flock. (James 3:16).
It is strange how our Father uses a form of evil to bring a forewarning to His flock, for us to prepare for the eventual wickedness that will present itself.
Here, is why, having been warned earlier to recognize the three gifts being offered in 91:9-16 the first being protection from diseases and attacks from our enemies, by first shielding us and secondly having his angels lift us up and hold us in their hands so we will not stumble or be harmed. By incorporating these warnings into our daily walk, we are practicing them in the foresight of upcoming battles.
The second promise and gift are to give us courage and strength to face and defeat our enemies both first spiritually and secondly physically by not bowing to their demands, knowing it is better to suffer whatever they present (which may harm us physically) than to succumb and place our faith in jeopardy. We will be faced with financial and material loss, that will have no spiritual effect
The final and I believe the strongest of the three a promise of long life and our Salvation through our Lord’s presence and promise.
In all of this those who abide in Psalms 91:1). He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Highest shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Will, within all of the world’s confusion, chaos and darkness, like cracked pots become a Beacon for those who have strayed or simply have not found the narrow path, through our demonstrations of calm and peaceful strength showing our dedication to Yeshua (Jesus Christ) who we have a personal relationship with and know is there for us when needed.
Why then would you fear or panic, knowing you are to become Beacons on the Hill?
Remember, these messages are given by a humble servant obedient
unto our Lord Yeshua as a Watchman. I pray for
all. ”Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua.” “ Blessings to All.” As you go forward in peace, knowledge, and strength. Amen and Amen.
