“FINDING A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS!”

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.

This article has come about as we complete the celebration of a New Year, but as well a new decade. As usual, I spend about an hour every morning with the Lord through different aspects, meditation, prayer, lots of Scripture, and to close that hour out and throughout the day, researching those scriptures revealed daily.
As I was researching the scriptures, I recognized my emotional state, I had only felt this way, when my son passed away 18 years prior; a state of grieving and forlornness. Then a state of jubilant joy, as a calm washed over me, something I had never felt at this depth before.

These mixed emotions were different because I was editing the next release “God’s Word Is Eternal,” published on the 2nd of January, 2020. The unique part of this future publication, “FINDING A WAY IN THE WILDERNESS!” the scripture received to research, editorialize, and publish. It is a continuation of the scriptural theme of the article, “God’s Word Is Eternal.” Many people would say, “what is the uniqueness”? Shouldn’t that happen, yes, in many ways?

However, the uniqueness of this article is in the forecasting, of the work Yeshua will be performing throughout 2020. The premise of that work is from the Old Testament to the freeing of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt. But making reference to various books, Exodus. 2Corinthians, Revelation, Numbers, Deut., Psalms, and finally Isaiah. Those references about the various events in the Old Testament will be describing the modern-day condition of the world the population and how Yeshua is going to deliver protect and provide for His children from the operating evil.

OPENING PRAYER by Robert
Father in Heaven, I place your children before your throne, knowing Father there is nothing hidden from you. I am appealing to you, Lord, that all hidden secrets in our hearts be revealed through you, for their acceptance and correction by your servants. Praying Father, for deep discernment, to be placed in our souls. Bring an understanding of your works now and in the future. This I pray in your name Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

This occurrence will be on a spiritual level, however, the world will only recognize it as physical. Confusion and disarray are going to rear their ugly heads, and the whole world Populus is going to groan from the suffering brought about by the evil which has and is still to fall upon all. It will have a physical appearance all is stable economically and socially.

However, on the spiritual side of life, a war is being waged and evil, as a result, is growing stronger within the realm of the carnal world. In the last three-plus years, many Trumpets have been sounded as warnings as a means of preparing for these upcoming events.

The afore-mentioned Scripture and verses will layout the occurrences. Isaiah 43:19 is the first indication of the work Yeshua will perform. “Behold, I will do a new thing now it shall spring forth shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.“

As darkness descends deeper into our world, the despair of those carnal will become close to unbearable.
Remember, I qualified there will be a reference to the work God did in the Old Testament for his people who were in captivity as slaves in Egypt.

However, the following is for those modern-day believers who recognize their needs, as line upon line of scripture assuring they will be guided through Satans illusions, temptations, delusions and captivity being spiritually depicted as a wilderness. And therefore, they might have a strong consolation, the assurances of it are often repeated, and here very expressly and encouragingly.

As Pilgrims, we do not own nor affect any person or thing in this world for carnal ends and outward advantage: we are enabled, by divine grace, not to mind nor regard this world, nor the things of this world, but to live above it (Rev. 21: 5 ) “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” The love of Yeshua is in our hearts, and the world is under our feet, Solid Believers, must enjoy the comforts of this life, and their relations in this world, with a holy indifference.  

We must live upon his spiritual presence, and the comfort it affords, for it is the will of God, we should not know Yeshua any more after the flesh. A thorough change of the heart: For if any man is in Yeshua, if any man is a Believer indeed, and will approve himself such, he is, or he must be, a new creature, (2 Corinthians 5:17)“Therefore if any man be in Yeshua, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new.”  

This ought to be the care of all who profess to have faith, that they are new creatures; not only that they have a new name, and wear a new livery, but that they have a new heart and new nature.

And so great is the change the grace of God makes in the soul, that, as it follows, old things are passed away – old thoughts, old principles, and old practices, are passed away; and all these things must become new. Note: Regenerating grace creates a new world in the soul; all things are new. The renewed man acts from new principles, by new rules, with new ends, and in new, company.

God is the great benefactor of the whole creation (Acts 17:25): He giveth to all life, and breath, and all things. He not only breathed into the first man the breath of life but still breathes it into every man. He gave us these souls he formed the spirit of man within him.

He not only gave us our life and breath when he brought us into being, but he is continually giving them to us his providence is a continued creation he holds our souls in life every moment our breath goes forth, but he graciously gives it to us again the next moment it is not only his air that we breathe in, but it is in his hand that our breath is, (Daniel 5:23). He gives to all the children of men their life and breath for as the meanest of the children of men live upon him, and receive from him, so the greatest, the wisest philosophers and mightiest potentates cannot live without him.

He gives to all, not only to all the children of men, but to the inferior creatures, to all animals, everything wherein is the breath of life (Genesis 6:17) they have their life and breath from him, and where he gives life and breath he gives all things, all other things needful for the support of life. The earth is full of his goodness, (Psalms 104:24,27).

For the constant revolutions and succession of day and night, and the dominion of sun and moon over them. The Gentiles were so affected with the light and influence of the sun and moon, and their serviceableness to the earth, that they worshipped them as deities and therefore the scripture takes all occasions to show that the gods they worshipped are the creatures and servants of the true God (Psalms 104:19): He appointed the moon for seasons, for the measuring of the months, the directing of the seasons for the business of the husbandman, and the governing of the tides. The full and change, the increase and decrease, of the moon, exactly observe the appointment of the Creator so does the sun, for he keeps as punctually to the time and place of his going down as if he were an intellectual being and knew what he did.

 

CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert

I am eluding to one of our known biblical scholars to close out this article. Dr. Cyrus Ingerson Scofield (1843-1921) who is undoubtedly best known today for the Scofield Reference Bible. The following is his dissertation on friendship, which I believe the Lord is using as a guide to bring us through the upcoming spiritual unrest. Yeshua compares it to the wilderness and identifies some of the characters and conditions we will encounter and be dealing with as we journey through this next year in, (Deuteronomy 8:15) “Who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness, wherein were fiery serpents, and scorpions, and drought, where there was no water who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint.“

One of the most striking contrasts between the ancient and the modern world is in the place which is given to friendship by moralists and religious teachers. Is not the explanation probably this? Our Lord gave a great new commandment to His disciples, that they should love one another; and though Christian men have as yet but imperfectly understood what He meant, or carried out what they have understood, an idea was created which far transcended that lower relationship of antiquity.

Greek friendship was to be merged in Christian love. The meaning of such a change will appear if we remember two characteristics of mere friendship, on which Aristotle dwells. One is that it is necessarily based upon selfishness; springing from a wish to realize oneself in the life of another, fed by the benefit or pleasure derived from the mutual intercourse, it lies under the necessary limitation that we shall not wish for our friend a good which would remove him from us or an improvement which would raise him too far above us. For the second point is that friendship can only exist between equals, and the best friendship is that between good men who stand upon the same level of virtue.

A Believers love, on the other hand, springs from a complete denial of self. It seeks nothing: it gives all. So far from laying stress upon the equality of conditions, it is never better pleased than when it can raise another to a position of excellence far surpassing its own, and instead of seeking its highest satisfaction in interaction with its spiritual peers, the good, the great, the saintly, it attains its perfection when it is lowered to embrace the weak, the sinful, the fallen, and to lavish all its Divine resources upon those who may never be able to repay it even with gratitude.

We may then practically, in thinking of friendship, confine our attention to that which exists between well-meaning people, and tends on the whole to bless, to strengthen, and to improve them.

We may come to look at some of the uses and the delights of friendship “As in water face answers to face, so in the heart, man answers to man” [Proverbs 27:19] In the heart of our friend we see our own character reflected just as gazing into a still pool we see the reflection of our own face.

It is in the frank and sympathetic dealings of friendship that we really get to know ourselves and to realize what is in us. We unfold to one another, we discover our similarities and mark our differences. Points which remained unobserved in our own hearts are immediately detected and understood when we see them also in our friends; faculties which remained unused are brought into play to supplement the discovered defects in our friend’s nature.

We hardly guess what a fund of happy humour is in us until we are encouraged to display it by observing how its flashes light up the face we love. Our capacities of sympathy and tenderness remain undeveloped until we wish eagerly to comfort our friend in a sudden sorrow. In a true friendship, we find that we are living a life which is doubled in all its faculties of enjoyment and of service; we quite shudder to think what cold, apathetic, undeveloped creatures we should have been but for that genial touch which unfolded us, and warmed our hearts into genuine feeling while it brought our minds into active play.

This intellectual value of friendship is brought out in the happy saying: “Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend” [Proverbs 27:17] A friendless person has a lack-lustre face; his talk has a dull edge; his emotions a poor and feeble flow. That delightful readiness of thought and expression which makes all the charm of social dealings, the easy tact which rubs off the angles and smoothes all the relations of life the bright flash of wit which seem like sunlight playing over summer seas, are usually the result of close and intimate communion with congenial friends.

Reading may make a learned man, and without hard study, few people can accomplish much permanent good in the world, but reading does not necessarily make a really social man, one who brings his fellow-creatures together in happy and helpful relationships; that beautiful faculty is only acquired by the fostering and stimulating influences of heart companionships.

When we have real friends, though they are only a few, we diffuse a friendly feeling amongst others, wherever we go. Possibly also in the simile of the iron lies a reminder of the discipline which friendship gives to a character, a discipline which is not always unaccompanied by pain.

But the decisive test and the most beautiful proof of real friendship will be found in the day of adversity. A friend is never known till needed. When calamity falls upon us, false friends make excuses and go; lip-friends relapse into silence; but we begin then for the first time to find out who is a friend indeed. Then it appears that the true friend is entirely unchanged by the changed aspect of affairs; it seems as if he had been born into brotherhood with us for this express occasion.

There is no wish to cry off; he seems even to press the brotherly tie in a way which we should not have presumed to expect, and thus he contrives to lighten the oppressive burden of obligation for the favour that he confers on us, by making it appear that he was bound to act as he does by a necessity of kinship.

This seems to be the meaning of our text. Such a friend, if he be near at hand and in constant contact with us, is of more service than our own brother; [Proverbs 27:10] and when through his timely aid or effectual comfort we have come out of the furnace, and our tears are dried, we say constantly to ourselves that we doubt whether our own brother would have clung to us so faithfully, would have borne with our whining murmurs so patiently, or relieved our necessities so delicately and so liberally [Proverbs 18:24].

Remember, these messages are given by a humble servant obedient to our Lord Yeshua as a “Watchman.” I pray for all. ”Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua.“ “Blessings to All.”  As you go forward in peace, knowledge, and strength.
