“ARE YOU AN ESCAPEE OR SERVANT? PART ONE!

Psalms 91:3
[3]Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

Well, now, here it is, the 31st of January, 2023. According to those in the world, our society has evolved to its highest point of intelligence. I mean, look around you; look at all the conveniences offered. Why we can instantly talk to anybody anywhere in the world. We don’t even need to open doors or trunk lids on our cars anymore. We can regulate the heat and appliances and lock our homes without being present. We even have fridges that talk to us. We just need to speak, and a computer answers our questions. Soon, we will have artificial intelligence doing all of our menial tasks.

What is my point? I guess with all of these wonderful gadgets that make life comfortable, why would anybody want to forsake what the world is offering. Why would I question the origin of this intelligence which provides so much comfort, luxury, and idle time?

That brings me to the position that many feel modern science has progressed, too and is offering a longer time spent in what it has brought into the world to extend it so the public can continue enjoying the wonderful gadgets spoken of earlier. How could anybody not want to be a part of this wonderful life?

Why do men strive to remain within these luxuries and comforts? What temptations are before those who strive to remain in the throes of a living death. How is it they desire to extend their lives at all cost to remain within these luxuries and comforts in an attempt to create a better lifestyle? Why do they use their worldly wisdom, which affords them no eternal comfort, only a guaranteed eternal separation from God?

What is whispered to their spirit that maintains the grasp it has on their soul? Will they see past their ambitions to prove their success in whatever condition of life they presently journey in?

Is the condition of their heart so set to be seen as successful among men? They literally put their souls in jeopardy, whether knowingly or unknowingly. It is here that we see what is behind this spiritually. Our Lord was subjected to this temptation, which is the basis of many a man’s sinful problems. Matthew 4:8-9 NKJV
Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. [9] And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

Which is suffered even deeper in the lower echelons of society. The desire for money and power is the stumbling block for many of those focusing on money and those chasing after power. The rationale is that it’s just human nature to be rich and powerful and lavished in luxury and comfort. Of course, the desire for all the gadgets that supposedly make life easier and are seen as comfort becomes a great factor in the choices many will make. There will be a temptation to revert to the worlds wisdom of using rationale and justification (coping skills) instead of taking responsibility for personal decisions (dealing with Life).

When it comes to walking with Yeshua as the way to reconnect with our Father in heaven, Yahewa. I place this question before the Ecclesia. It is not a difficult one. However, should be pondered. Have you let go of the world? Do you trust your faith in God as a servant? Those are the questions to ponder about your position in Salvation. Then consider “Why did I choose to receive Jesus as my saviour? Was it to escape God’s wrath and gain heaven? Or, to be a servant, obedient unto Yeshua’s teachings and guidance to be reconnected to our Father? Then If I am a servant, my obedience must reveal a 100% trust in all He teaches, nothing less.

Those who choose to escape will find they lack trust in their heart and will continue to trust the wisdom of the world for their sustenance, guidance, protection and health. This journey is fraught with many perils, leaving the participants vulnerable to God’s wrath and as beggars looking for support and answers from the world.

Those who choose to serve as obedient children will have trust in their hearts that their faith is sufficient in all matters they are selected to compete as servants. Having Yeshua and Yahewa bless them with their grace, peace and heavenly wisdom as servants, not beggars.

Further research into this brings us to search through scripture to find how much deeper those who attempt to escape God’s wrath will fall and what the appealing factor causing that fall is. In order for all to be on the same page, we must identify who is considered rich in this research. Even those without physical gadgets can be considered as part of this scenario.

Peter said We have forsaken all. Alas! it was but a poor all, only a few boats and nets; yet observe how Peter speaks as if it had been some mighty thing. The following defines how those without can be considered as the rich. We are too apt to make the most of our services and sufferings, our expenses and losses, for Christ.

However, Christ does not upbraid them; though it was little that they had forsaken, it was their all, and as dear to them as if it had been more. Christ took it kindly that they left it to follow him; he accepts according to what a man hath.

Luke 12:15 KJV
And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.

The things of the world will not satisfy the desires of a soul. Here is a parable, which shows the folly of worldly-mindedness while they live and their misery when they die. The character drawn is exactly that of a prudent, worldly man, who has no grateful regard to the providence of God, nor any right thought of the uncertainty of human affairs, the worth of his soul, or the importance of eternity. How many, even among professed Christians, point out similar characters as models for imitation, and proper persons to form connections with! We mistake if we think that thoughts are hid, and thoughts are free.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa.
