I am opening by republishing the January 21st, 2023, PRAYER. https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2023/01/21/january-21st-2023-prayer-time-is-short-we-must-be-unified/
At the end of this message, a question was asked; Who knows, there is a small group praying for those walking in this world’s darkness?
I pondered that question! Realized there are two different answers, and both would be correct in the minds of those holding either one. How can either answer be correct?
Is it a trick question? No! When you stop and consider it, the answer most suited to the one pondering reveals the path this soul is taking to reach eternal life.
What is the significance of this knowledge? To further understand this
knowledge, here is another question which is derived from our Lord’s statement Matthew 26:11 KJV
For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.
As I pondered the Lord’s statement, I asked, “Who are the poor being spoken of here?” And in asking that, again, the significance of who was asking became apparent, there would be two correct answers.
We find part of the answer to who some of the poor are in Yeshua’s statement in Matthew 5:3 KJV.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Yeshua identifies the second identity of whom is poor in Matthew 19:21 KJV
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
It is becoming apparent why there are two correct answers. We are being shown an oversight distinction between those the world sees as poor and those who in the world is seen as being spiritually poor. Through this identified distinction, it becomes clear that our approach and uplifting of prayers for either one of the identified poor must be in a manner suitable for the benefit of either.
As I continued to delve into why Yeshua was identifying each distinction of poor. I was led to the Old Testament and found God had made it quite clear how the gifted were to provide for the poor in Leviticus 19:9-10 KJV.
And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the Lord your God.
Here, we see the Lord identifying there is the worldly poor who His gifted children must see fit to share part of their blessings with, so they might have sustenance.
It must be noted whom the Lord is calling upon specifically so that our care is offered appropriately and to the right group of poor. As one of God’s gifted, now knowing there are two distinct types of poor, our prayers and efforts must be fashioned to suit their particular needs. Otherwise, our efforts will be fruitless. However, always keep in mind that our ultimate goal is to present Yeshua as the complete answer to the poor no matter which group they present themselves as a part of.
These facts bring about the following thoughts: Why is Yeshua revealing this information? What purpose is it serving to identify there are two distinct categories identifying the poor? When we dig into the why, it becomes obvious there is a serious problem within both the Ecclesia and Assemblies.
Both groups are being mishandled first by the assemblies and secondly by the Ecclesia on an individual basis. Thus, we are seeing many brothers and sisters falling away due to the lack of understanding spiritually by the Ecclesia.
These individuals are spiritually poor and in need of spiritual support. They need to be presented with the proper caring and information that their soul is crying out for. The significance of recognizing who is poor and what they are lacking becomes very obvious and quite clear why Yeshua is revealing this information. A group of his children are suffering and need assistance.
Identifying the worldly poor is easy and should be approached with a completely different set of spiritual tools. Now, recognizing what many are calling back sliden can now be identified as being spiritually poor, destitute of the word, requiring a specific approach aimed at providing understanding and knowledge that there has been a lack of awareness and support.
Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa.
