I am making a declaration here as this article may without intent, offend some. It may, for some, appear farfetched or, as the world puts it, really far out there. The intent is to draw you, no matter the position or depth of your walk, to do a personal honest assessment of your beliefs and relationship with Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa.
John 1:7,14 KJV
The same came for a witness to bear witness of the Light that all men through him might believe. [14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Nothing so much prevents men from entering the strait gate and becoming true followers of Christ, as the carnal, soothing, flattering doctrines of those who oppose the truth. They may be known by the drift and effects of their doctrines. Some part of their temper and conduct is contrary to the mind of Christ. Those opinions come not from God that lead to sin.
How do we identify those who would bring these carnal, soothing, flattering doctrines. Perhaps we might see our answer in James 3:13-16 KJV
Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. [14] But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. [15] This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. [16] For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. The next question is, how have these attributes entered into the trust of the Ecclesia? Perhaps by reflecting on the Apostle Paul’s dissertation in Romans 1:21 KJV, we may find some answers….
[21]Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
I must point out, mankind faced this truth once before and rejected it. The carnal, soothing, flattering doctrines were so deep, with mankind, that this light, [Yeshua] was a threat to their comforts and supporting doctrines, they crucified him, believing it would remove his exposing light and doctrines.
John 1:9-11
[9]That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
[10]He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
[11]He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
It is difficult for those in the world who are taught to cope with life to take responsibility; as they then would need to remove blame from their walk and finally take responsibility for their actions.
It would appear we may have revealed how God’s Assemblies and the Ecclesia stumbled, it comes down to one word “coping”!
When you define coping you recognize there is only the path of rationalizations and justifications and no sign of responsibility. The Apostle Paul, brings forward a charge of sinfulness against all flesh; declares the only method of deliverance from condemnation, by faith in the mercy of God, through Jesus Christ; and then builds upon it purity of heart, grateful obedience, and earnest desires to improve in all those Christian graces and tempers, which nothing but a lively faith in Christ can bring forth. God is a just and holy God, and we are guilty sinners. It is necessary that we have a righteousness to appear in before him: there is such a righteousness brought in by the Messiah, and made known in the gospel; a gracious method of acceptance, notwithstanding the guilt of our sins. It is the righteousness of Christ, who is God, coming from a satisfaction of infinite value. Faith is all in all, both in the beginning and progress of Christian life. It is not from faith to works, as if faith put us into a justified state, and then works kept us in it; but it is all along from faith to faith; it is faith pressing forward, and gaining the victory over unbelief.
The sinfulness of man is described as ungodliness against the laws of the first table, and unrighteousness against those of the second. The cause of that sinfulness is holding the truth in unrighteousness. All, more or less, do what they know to be wrong, and omit what they know to be right, so that the plea of ignorance cannot be allowed from any.
They wandered from God, till all traces of true religion must have been lost, had not the revelation of the gospel prevented it. For whatever may be pretended, as to the sufficiency of man’s reason to discover Divine truth and moral obligation, or to govern the practice aright, facts can not be denied. These plainly show that men have dishonored God by the most absurd idolatries and superstitions and have degraded themselves by the vilest affections and most abominable deeds, having learned how to rationalize and then justify their position of never being elevated into God’s spiritual realm and heavenly wisdom.
Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
