To all who believe I want to take Christ out of Pastor Woodward’s “Christ Mass”. You err and do not know who your enemy really is or what war you’re fighting in!
So all understand, I believe our Lord desires for us to celebrate his birth and ensuing walk (as displayed) sharing his victories and highlighting his footprints as a daily gift, not hoarding it to be displayed for one day in its glory; but every day as his glory, lighting the way thru the darkness unto Yeshua’s light.
For me, each day is as you say “Christ’s Mass,” to be shared, not hidden for 364 days, but celebrated and honoured as a never-ending gift. Yeshua doesn’t need a feast, tree and ornaments, lights, or a special day to be honored. Those accoutrements are appeasements to the eye and fleshly luxuries and comforts, while seeking societal approval from those bolstered in their sin by being presented a demonstration, that it is ok to sin, because we observe the same celebration as they do, only. In our minds we rationalize it and justifiably label it as a religious ceremony in remembrance of Our Saviors birth.
Matthew 19:21-22 KJV
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
How does this scripture apply. Yeshua knew that covetousness was the sin which Robert Rombough that is human nature and yes we must teach against it. It is the Christ in Christmas that the demigods fought to squelch a few years back and that hasn’t gone but intensified. I believe that the time in which we will be persecuted for our faith is upon us, we need lift up the name of our Lord anywhere and anytime we can easily beset this young man; though he had got honestly what he possessed, yet he could not cheerfully part with it, and by this his want of sincerity was shown. Christ’s promises make his precepts easy, and his yoke pleasant and very comfortable; yet this promise was as much a trial of the young man’s faith, as the precept was of his charity and contempt of the world. It is required of us in following Christ, that we duly attend his ordinances, strictly follow his pattern, and cheerfully submit to his disposals; and this from love to him, and in dependence on him.
Yeshua desires those who love him to daily share that love, daily demonstrate his compassion, daily open the door to our Father’s realm, where one can bask in His grace and presence eternally. That Pastor Woodward is my definition of “Christ’s Mass,” which no man can remove our Saviour from. Blessings to all who love Yeshua and Yahewa.
Pastor Woodward people are fighting the wrong battle and have forgotten who they are battling Ephesians 6:12 KJV
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
The current battle is a diversion to prevent the Ecclesia from fighting the proper war, daily sharing God’s light deep into the darkness daily, not just as a concentrated spotlight for one day, (advantage Satan). But shining that light with the same zeal and vigor as demonstrated towards the one-day celebration, daily into the darkness (advantage Yeshua and those freed by that light).
That pastor Woodward is the battle we should be fighting; daily keeping Yeshua as the central figure in “(Christ’s Mass),” as a bright light. What I recognize is a build-up to celebrate the birth, and once it’s done a waning of the enthusiasm to keep Yeshua front and center throughout the balance of the year.
The following is a response by Pastor Woodward to my earlier statement. Robert Rombough, that is human nature, and yes, we must teach against it. It is the Christ in Christ Mass that the demigods fought to squelch a few years back, and that hasn’t gone but intensified. I believe that the time in which we will be persecuted for our faith is upon us. We need lift up the name of our Lord anywhere and anytime we can
The following is a statement made by Melissa Brown as an observation to an article https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2022/12/02/a-bold-reminder-lest-we-forget-4/ I like how you asked what realm are we walking in? All too often we fail to see that our battles are fought in the spiritual realm, everything about us is spiritual, but we see, touch, and feel physically, and most times those senses can over take the knowledge that we are supposed to operate in the spiritual realm. I am thankful Robert Rombough that you have put it into a good perspective, using scripture in the right way. Freely, we have received and freely we give.
As my research deepened it was becoming obvious, in order to fulfill the first commandment, each day should be appreciated in the same manner and reverenced as our Sabbath day.
The Christian sabbath, the first day of the week, is observed in remembrance of the resurrection of Christ. Let us who call him “Our Lord,” honour him on his own day. The name shows how this sacred day should be observed; the Lord’s day should be wholly devoted to the Lord, and none of its hours employed in a sensual, worldly manner, or in amusements.
Those who would enjoy communion with God on the Lord’s day must seek to draw their thoughts and affections from earthly things. And if believers are kept on the Lord’s holy day, from public ordinances and the communion of saints, by necessity and not by choice, they may look for comfort in meditation and secret duties, from the influences of the Spirit; and by hearing the voice and contemplating the glory of their beloved Saviour, from whose gracious words and power no confinement or outward circumstances can separate them. The following is a comment about my earlier statement made in conversation with Melissa Brown Very good. We must not be hypocrites but practice what we teach. We need not to give advice that we ourselves would not live under.
In these waning days “Christ Mass,” must be shared daily, not as an appeasement to the flesh with trees, lights, feasts, and a birth. A homage to what the birth made available, that through such a humble entry into our realm, a light appeared and grew while spreading and today is available for all to bask in and share. The light of reason, as well as the life of sense, is derived from him, and depends upon him. This eternal Word, this true Light shines, but the darkness comprehends it not. Let us pray without ceasing, that our eyes may be opened to behold this Light, that we may walk in it; and thus be made wise unto salvation, by faith in Jesus Christ. Yes, we should acknowledge the day that light entered our realm, but it is how bright that light became and remains as such through us, who daily honour and celebrate Yeshua as that light.
Pastor Woodward, I asked you this question, in scripture does it state to celebrate Yeshua’s birthday? It doesn’t, however your play on words to justify keeping Christ in the celebration “Christ Mass,” identified there are two battles being waged here, the majority are drawn to the glitter and appeal the remainder are drawn to the plain truth. The celebration is a diversion to keep God’s disciples from waging a daily battle, which is the real answer to my question.
It took prayer and meditation to discern this answer. To fully comprehend the question, we must dissect the whole scenario. the first clue is in your statement about “Christ’s Mass.” to observe this, we must celebrate it, which was your justification to celebrate this festival salted with Pagan customs and traditions. The second clue was in how the battle line was determined to keep Christ in the festival as the worldly wanted the Lord removed from their celebration, and this became the battle cry and the War’s frontline. Pastor Woodward states “Robert Rombough that is human nature and yes we must teach against it. It is the Christ in Christmas that the demigods fought to squelch a few years back and that hasn’t gone but intensified. I believe that the time in which we will be persecuted for our faith is upon us, we need lift up the name of our Lord anywhere and anytime we can.
What you have identified is the Ecclesia are fighting to maintain Christ in the wrong war a one day celebration. The Ecclesia’s war is identified as a daily one through the following scriptures, with reasoning represent the answer to my question. Mark 8:34 KJV
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Galatians 6:6 NKJV
Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.
Matthew 16:24 KJV
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and his Father in heaven Yahewa.
