In my warnings past and present, note, as a Watchman the emphasis is on two things our personal relationship with Yeshua, and the second is how our personal choices affect that relationship. They are posted without condemnation or judgment, but as thought to promote questions.
My main focus and reference is on the reaction of God towards the Israelites exiting Egypt. During their captivity, many Pagan customs were incorporated into their beliefs and worshipping. This is something the Lord recognized in Exodus 32:9 KJV
And the Lord said unto Moses, I have seen these people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people:
and wanted to destroy them, Exodus 32:10 KJV
Now, therefore, let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.
However, Moses reasoned a reprieve from God’s wrath Exodus 32:11-12 KJV
And Moses besought the Lord his God, and said, Lord, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, which thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand? Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, for mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath and repent of this evil against thy people.
As we enter another celebration of the festival known as Christmas, we are also entering a time where choices are placed before us. The following is an answer to a statement given to the flock regarding celebrating this upcoming Christmas festival. Pastor Woodward posted the following in various groups on FB https://www.facebook.com/100070378365738/posts/pfbid02ZcuUTEfLaqwtu1QQ1qrtAFgPGLqc5KV4HWh4prHoNLCbVcqkysMUgoTe9J7aVFpRl/?mibextid=Nif5oz
The following is my response to this posting abiding by his request not to judge or condemn. Choice is the keyword. Rationalizations and justification are involved. How we present our temple to Yeshua is personal, based on our choices whether worldly or spiritually motivated. We all answer through our thought process of what we believe are Righteous teachings which influence our worship and how we respond
In further conversation with Melissa Brown in respect to the condition of the Ecclesia she noted this statement to an article I had posted as a warning https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2022/12/03/a-bold-reminder-lest-we-forget-5/
But the biggest issue I see is that people have been taught a false gospel, and their faith has died or is nearly dead from following after those who claim to be like God.
They are seeking the things of this world, instead of seeking God first. God cannot be used or manipulated.
We must seek him first in trust, love, and faith; he always takes care of the faithful.
The following is my response The other point most miss, is a trust issue with the truth and continue to hold onto the worlds solutions for their infirmities whether physical or disease orientated. Which leads to further indulgence in sin.
2 Corinthians 6:17 KJV
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you.
Only, after exhausting the worldly solutions do they turn to the spiritual realm for answers. Had they placed their trust in God’s hands to begin with, nothing would have stood against them Psalm 91:1-11. This boils down to the choice of who you trust and believe Baal or God. 1 Kings 18:21 KJV
And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
Because God’s laws apply, in many cases what would have been prevented initially, now falls under God’s curses. Deuteronomy 28:45 KJV
Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
Impure seducers and their abandoned followers give themselves up to their own fleshly minds. Refusing to bring every thought to the obedience of Christ, they act against God’s righteous precepts. They walk after the flesh, go on in sinful courses, and increase to greater degrees of impurity and wickedness.
2 Peter 2:13 NKJV And will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you
Christ deals gently with those who have true grace, though they are weak in it. Consider the design of Christ’s death: also that drawing a soul to sin, threatens the destruction of that soul.
Did Christ deny himself for our brethren, so as to die for them, and shall not we deny ourselves for them, so as to keep from any indulgence?
We cannot hinder ungoverned tongues from speaking evil; but we must not give them any occasion. We must deny ourselves in many cases what we may lawfully do, when our doing it may hurt our good name.
Our good often comes to be evil spoken of, because we use lawful things in an uncharitable and selfish manner. As we value the reputation of the good we profess and practise, let us seek that it may not be evil-spoken of. Righteousness, peace, and joy, are words that mean a great deal. As to God, our great concern is to appear before him justified by Christ’s death, sanctified by the Spirit of his grace; for the righteous Lord loveth righteousness.
As to our brethren, it is to live in peace, and love, and charity with them; following peace with all men. As to ourselves, it is joy in the Holy Ghost; that spiritual joy wrought by the blessed Spirit in the hearts of believers, which respects God as their reconciled Father, and heaven as their expected home. Regard to Christ in doing our duties, alone can make them acceptable.
Those are most pleasing to God that are best pleased with him; and they abound most in peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. They are approved by wise and good men; and the opinion of others is not to be regarded.
As we value the reputation of the good we profess and practise, let us seek that it may not be evil-spoken of.
The compassion which was demonstrated lifted the saved from darkness into light. Removed the chains of binding sin holding them as slaves in darkness as described in Romans 13:11-13 NKJV
And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now, our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent; the day is at hand. Therefore, let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
God’s compassion has lifted us above the world’s entrapping foolishness and placed us in God’s realm of freedom and light. In order for us to continue, Yeshua as he ascended blessed those raised into his Father’s realm with the Holy Spirit so we might comprehend this freedom and wisdom. John 14:26 KJV
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The following thought was shared by Melissa Brown. Over the centuries since the apostles have passed, many teachers have taken to the pulpits to give their own personal ideas and interpretations of scripture. Some of these people were dead set on deceiving generations, and have done so with evil intentions in their heart. This has now created what I call traditions of personal interpretations.
Following Melissa Brown’s thoughts, that means these individuals can use scripture to justify their rational by fitting personal interpretation when it is being challenged.
When a warning is brought to the Ecclesia to discern, should that action be construed as condemnation or an act of compassion supported by love for a fellow believer.
As a Watchman I am compelled out of obedience to Yeshua to bring forward information as warnings to be discerned. What the individuals do with the information is their choice. Ezekiel 33:6
But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.
Our Lord warned us not to be deceived and to daily work out our Salvation in order to overcome deceptions. As I pointed out initially our choices effect our eternal walk, what information we use as the base of our interpretations should scripturally support our relationship with Yeshua not what we in our minds believe it to be. This caution is supported by the action God took against the 800,000 Israelites who exited Eygypt. And in their minds they believed they were righteous before God. Of the 800,000 only two after wandering for forty years were allowed to enter the promised land.
The call today is for all to set aside the rationalizations and justifications, research all the information being used to make your choices, know in your heart not your mind it is scripturally supported.
Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.
When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.
2 Corinthians 6:13-18 KJV
Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be ye also enlarged. Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them ; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing ; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
