Romans 6:18 KJV
Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
Every man is the servant of the master to whose commands he yields himself; whether it be the sinful dispositions of his heart, in actions which lead to death, or the new and spiritual obedience implanted by regeneration.
Such power attended our Lord’s words, that many were convinced, and professed to believe in him. He encouraged them to attend his teaching, rely on his promises, and obey his commands, notwithstanding all temptations to evil.
Thus doing, they would be his disciples truly; and by the teaching of his word and Spirit, they would learn where their hope and strength lay. Christ spoke of spiritual liberty; but carnal hearts feel no other grievances than those that molest the body, and distress their worldly affairs. Talk to them of their liberty and property, tell them of waste committed upon their lands, or damage done to their houses, and they understand you very well; but speak of the bondage of sin, captivity to Satan, and liberty by Christ; tell of wrong done to their precious souls, and the hazard of their eternal welfare, then you bring strange things to their ears.
The rules of Christianity reach every condition; and in every state a man may live so as to be a credit to it. It is the duty of every Christian to be content with his lot, and to conduct himself in his rank and place as becomes a Christian. Our comfort and happiness depend on what we are to Christ, not what we are in the world. No man should think to make his faith or religion, an argument to break through any natural or civil obligations.
He should quietly and contentedly abide in the condition in which he is placed by Divine Providence.
Heavenly Father we thank thee for all the assistance you have provided as well as the warning of events to come. We ask for all to be strengthened and protected according to your word. Thank you, Father, for your patience and the lead time you have given all plus the wisdom to your disciples in preparation to go forward. We ask Father for you to strengthen them and protect them from any and all forms of evil. Lord we know many will rebuke your soldiers and their word, and there will be those who will try to deceive them. We ask you to fill their hearts and minds with your wisdom to discern those who are deceivers. We pray for their interior mirrors to be polished so your light will penetrate the dark shroud which covers this world today. Give them the words Father to draw those still deceived and lost to break down their barriers. This we pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen and Amen
Amen and Amen. Place endurance on our hearts we pray in the name of Yeshua and Yahewa. Robert
