“AS DISCIPLES, WE ARE ARMED, PREPARED, AND CALLED TO SHARE GODS FREEING LIGHT!”

In opening I desire to quote our sister in Yeshua Melissa Brown from her posting of June 17th, 2022 on her site Waking Up The Saints. “Yes. And yes. We were all called to spread the gospel of Christ.
Even though we are not all preachers and teachers… every believer is a disciple of Christ. And as such, we should be taking the gospel to others.

In noting the truth and agreeing with our partner in interceding Melissa Brown; scripture points out, the doctrine of a disciple; they must be scriptural, clear, evangelical, and practical; well stated, explained, defended, and applied as though they are teachers, pastors and ministers.

Those who share by the doctrine, must share by example. Their sharing must be edifying; their conversation must be holy; they must be examples of love to God and all good men, as living examples of spiritual-mindedness.

A Pastor, Teacher, or Ministers position in Yeshua leaves no room for leisure or worldly pleasures, trifling visits, or idle conversation, as well little for what is mere amusement, and only ornamental in life.

The message here, every disciple hold to the example their leadership sets before them as being a distinct follower, letting his profiting appear unto all men; as they seek to experience the power of the gospel in their own soul, bringing forth its fruits in their lifestyle.

In reproving for sin, we should distinguish between sinners and their sins. Reproofs that kindly and affectionately warn, are likely to reform.

Though the apostle spoke with authority as a parent, he would rather beseech them in love. And as ministers are to set an example, others must follow them, as far as they follow Christ in faith and practice.

Christians may mistake and differ in their views, but Christ and Christian truth are the same yesterday, to-day, and forever.

Whenever the gospel is effectual, it comes not in word only, but also in power, by the Holy Spirit, quickening dead sinners, delivering persons from the slavery of sin and Satan, renewing them both inwardly and outwardly, and comforting, strengthening, and establishing the saints, which cannot be done by the persuasive language of men, but by the power of God.

And it is a happy temper, to have the spirit of love and meekness bear the rule, yet to maintain just authority.

While the necessity of a holy walk is insisted upon, as the effect and evidence of the knowledge of God in Christ Jesus, the opposite error of self-righteous pride is guarded against with equal care. All who walk near to God, in holiness and righteousness, are sensible that their best days and duties are mixed with sin. God has given testimony to the sinfulness of the world, by providing a sufficient, effectual Sacrifice for sin, needed in all ages; and the sinfulness of believers themselves is shown, by requiring them continually to confess their sins, and to apply by faith to the blood of that Sacrifice. Let us plead guilty before God, be humble, and willing to know the worst of our case. Let us honestly confess all our sins in their full extent, relying wholly on his mercy and truth through the righteousness of Christ, for a free and full forgiveness, and our deliverance from the power and practice of sin.
