“IT APPEARS NOTHING HAS CHANGED!”

Today I received this message from Pastor Woodward “Good morning from Strafford Mo. The temperature is 65 and the forecast high is 77. … We have become so acclimated to lives full of stuff that a few moments of silence is unbearable. Satan knows how to distract and confuse. He knows what will draw us away from times of peace and reflection that is so important to peace. I remember the days before the technical overload, the days that we had time to read the word, love the family, and to take in the beauty of our Lord. … Father we give thanks for healing and prayers of the saints. Bless us to take time to know you and those who you have put in our lives ❤ in Christ Jesus’ wonderful name 🙏 Amen ❤🙏

The Lord gave me this reply; It appears, this is not a new problem with men Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection. And 2Timothy 3:4 Traitors, rebellious, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Simply different distractions of the times. Satan is subtle and uses our emotions quite effectively. I called it Luxurious Sins we become so familiar we don’t even see them as sins anymore.

To which Pastor Woodward responded Amen the little nuances of habitual character traits that we accept as normal that steals our victory and inhibit our prayers 🙏❤

When it became apparent, we were speaking about how Satan as a legalist uses our ignorance of God’s laws The Ten Commandments so successfully against us. My reply went as such. Pastor Woodward yes, all because we are ignorant of God’s laws. I wonder how many use the Ten Commandments “as a guide through life.“

“Oh,” I can hear it now, he expects me to read all ten reprises, I wonder why, what is the need, I know all the commandments and attempt to keep as many as I can. I don’t think there is anybody short of Yeshua who could keep them all.

In answer to the discourse, I turn to Ezekiel 33:1-9 A Watchman’s business is to warn sinners of their misery and danger. He must warn the sinners to turn from their way, that they may live. If souls perish through his neglect of duty, he brings guilt upon himself.

I bring this conversation to light as an instrument of God being used as a Watchman who is warning those caught up in their Luxurious Sins. There are two verses I am applying here for all to ponder on, Matthew 18:20 KJV
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

I believe this verse applies to our conversation quite applicable. As does the second verse taken from Romans 1:22 KJV
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. I believe it might be strongly advised to ponder these two verses as you may recognize who was a silent observer and is a participant through the Holy Spirit and observer (Matthew 18:20) in all my published articles as well.
