“WHAT SHOULD OUR HEALING PRAYERS BE ABOUT, THE BODY OR SPIRIT?”

While observing a conversation in regards to an observation about who women should be submitted to, the Lord brought this question forward to place before the Ecclesia, “WHAT SHOULD OUR HEALING PRAYERS BE ABOUT, THE BODY OR SPIRIT?”

Our past writings have shown we need to be compassionate, filled with confidence in our faith and trust of God, and his promises, for God to respond.

Then I came across this conversation between two spiritual friends (I will explain the importance of this further in)

Here is the question as presented by this discerning believer Melissa Brown: Bob Woodward yes, and this is what I have found as well. I know in the churches where the women were told to keep quiet that they had all kinds of chaos.
Men and women sat on opposite sides of the church and women would yell across the room to their husbands with questions while they were being taught.
But I am hearing a lot of teachers, who otherwise, teach sound doctrine, speak as if the scriptures say that women should be in subjection to all men, or this is the feeling/idea that I get from hearing them speak.
There are several scriptures that state that a woman should be in subjection to her husband.
So I was just curious if I was being stubborn in my own reading and understanding of scripture or if I was right and wives only submit to their husbands.

At first I pondered what does this question; who women should submit too, have to do with this question. Then I pondered, could it be we are praying for the wrong thing.

Melissa Brown, Sister, if I may speak to your question. I say “Yes,” you are correct as the husband is the Spiritual head of the home and family. However, I would insert here, the wifes position is not below her husband, it is as an equal. Most overlook one factor in this discussion, when we come before our Lord to be unioned in marriage, it is as two to become one in spirit; where we each vow to care, protect, and edify as one.

When I ponder that vow, for me it means, I as a spiritual man, have excepted, that we have now brought all of our being (spirit), into unison and for that bond to be strong, neither rules over the other.

In the spirit we are equal and each contributes to that walk in all matters. United you stand divided you fall. When I listen to successfully enduring couples, what I hear, is they walk equal, both uplifting the other.

As for outside of this union, I discern there needs to be respect and trust, garnered from both. Spiritually I refer to the teaching of dealing with my neighbor, as I would have them deal with me. I apply that belief, whether to a Gentile or Believer, as I see all as neighbors, and stand with Yeshua and His Father recognizing all as such. And yes, I have had to endure a form of prejudice, due to their ignorance of God’s basic laws, The Ten Commandments.

As I eluded earlier in this message. Pastor Woodward, blessings brother, it is rare to find discerning spirits (Melissa Brown). As most only see the flesh, and not the enduring spirit, of who we actually are, not having a form or gender.

I often pondered what Yeshua was referring to, when he stated at times we are blind, “I think we just found out why!”

You have a precious friend brother, one who sees you in the spirit, and not physically.

It truly is special when we become a spiritual friend rather than physical. Amen.

Blessings to both of you truly we see Matthew 18:20 in its full glory here.

In closing as I peruse this information, it becomes clear when we pray for the sick, if we follow this information, it should be for the spirit, even though the sickness has manifested in the flesh.

Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
