No matter our belief, our life’s journey will take us through many different scenarios. There will be times of beauty and times of unrest. Each represents a balance in our journey.
My teacher, The Holy Spirit, brought me an opportunity to share my witness and testimony with a young woman who, like so many, believe there is no God. Her walk is centered deeply in works and being the right person. She is not an atheist, but as an Educated professional, does not believe in spirits or spirituality. As our conversation grew more in-depth, she asked me “if I was easily offended”? Because she did not want to do so by stating her belief, “There is no God!” I replied this was not “offensive” to me, but rather I recognized it as a “spiritual choice,” she was making which does not affect me in my walk or beliefs.
The Holy Spirit showed me, be open with my words, explain what I was hoping to achieve with her, show her this is not “Evangelism,” but rather just seed planting. I asked her if she knew what a mustard seed became when planted in fertile soil? She replied, “how does that question apply to our conversation”? I answered with my earlier position; “to plant a seed of information”.
In what was being shown spiritually what I was able to determine, “was a very gentle spirited individual”; not realizing they may be seeking, but not knowing what they might be seeking. Being content in their life’s walk, but knowing there is more to understand, and not recognizing where to look for it, in order to fill the emptiness in her walk. And that there were many spiritual gifts available when the answers were found and accepted.
The Lord was showing me through my attestation even though the replies I was hearing were negative, a seed the size of a mustard seed had been planted with this young woman. And through the parable, our Lord brought to us in Matthew 13:32: What indeed is the least of all seeds, but when grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
As an earlier article revealed there are many bends in our journey, and we know not what is around the curve. This young woman in her statements about desiring to help others, her ability to be considerate and caring about others, as many others attest to, revealed what our Lord was showing. The words I was presenting were like the mustard seed being planted in fertile soil. The Holy Spirit revealed my work with her was done, now it was time for them (God’s Words) to take root. Once rooted, will bring forth more questions! Our life’s journey will take us through many different scenarios. There will be times of beauty and times of unrest. I was fortunate at this time, to recognize our Father using me as an obedient servant planting His words as a mustard seed in fertile soil, for harvesting at a later date. There are Blessings for all believer or non-believer as you enter this day, not knowing who, our Lord, is going to present into your life. So, He, God, might use them to plant His Word, the size of a mustard seed for future harvesting, into your life. For those walking in the light, “Go wisely in peace and in obedience,” doing our Father’s work planting seeds. Matthew
13:19 to 23 When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which receiveth seed by the wayside. But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it. He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. But he that receiveth seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word; and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
We see many different categories identifying where some may today be journeying when they receive those words as a seed. Maybe a look into a spiritual mirror will reveal their walk within that journey. Blessings ahead for all in whatever walk you are in.
Thank you, Father, for using me as a messenger allowing you to reach out to those who do not know you. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me through my words to gently introduce your compassion and love for all who don’t believe in you. Don’t understand how they could be loved or even more forgiven for all. Thank you for supplying the mustard seeds. This I pray in the name of Yeshua, Amen and, Amen.
Robert
