BEING A MESSENGER

“Moreover, he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears. And go, get you to them of the captivity, unto the children of your people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear”. It was gently suggested that some of the messages and replies to messages are an effort on my part to question an individual’s Christianity. In response to this suggestion, I have in the past related that my walk is not of a Pastor, minister, or teacher, my walk is one of a Watchman.

After an extended period (9 mos.) of meditation and prayer, I took on the mantel of a Watchman, which, as I studied the words in Ezekiel 33:2, 33:6-7;17. Learned the responsibility of this walk and the importance it stands for. 

The site I started in 2011 on WordPress Trumpeter’s Call enables me to reach out around the world. The aim is to bring forward first the Lord’s warnings of what is occurring or not occurring within the flock. As well as more information on what can be done to rectify. A watchman’s business is to warn sinners of their misery and danger. He must warn the wicked to turn from their way, that they may live. If souls perish through his neglect of duty, he brings guilt upon himself. 

See what those must answer for, who make excuses for sin, flatter sinners, and encourage them to believe they shall have peace, though they go on. How much wiser are men in their temporal than in their spiritual concerns! 

They set Watchmen to guard and to warn of an enemies’ approach, and where the everlasting happiness or misery of the soul is at stake. They are offended if ministers obey their master’s command and give a faithful warning; they would rather perish, listening to smooth things.

Those who despaired of finding mercy with God are answered with a solemn declaration of God’s readiness to show mercy. The ruin of the city and state was found, but that did not relate to the final state of persons. 

 

God says to the righteous that he shall surely live. But many who have made profession, have been ruined by proud confidence in themselves. Man trusts to his own righteousness, and arrogance on his own sufficiency is brought to commit sin. If those who have lived a wicked life repent and forsake their wicked ways, they shall be saved. 

Many such amazing and blessed changes have been wrought by the power of Divine grace. When there is a settled separation between a man and sin, there shall no longer be a separation between him and God.

Those who are unteachable, who do not learn dependence upon God, when all creature-comforts fail. Will claim an interest in the peculiar blessings to true believers, while their conduct proves them enemies of God. They call this groundless presumption strong faith, when God declares them entitled to his threatening’s, and nothing else.
Unworthy and corrupt motives often lead men to the places where the word of God is faithfully preached. Many come to find, some to oppose, far more come out of curiosity or mere habit. 

Men may have their hearts changed. But whether men hear or forbear, they will know by the event that a servant of God has been among them. All who will not see the worth of mercies by the improvement of them will honestly know their worth by the want of them.

This mission will have the holy angels’ rejoicing. This is to convince that God, who sent him, has the power to bear him out in his work. 

A Watchman can be overwhelmed with grief, for the sins and miseries of his flock, and overpowered by the glory of the vision he had seen. However, meditation and communion with God may be sweet, so the servant of the Lord is prepared to serve his flock. 

The Lord appoints a Watchman to shepherd his flock. If he warns the wicked, he is not chargeable with their ruin. Though such passages refer to the national covenant made with Israel, they are equally to be applied to the final state of all men under every exemption. 

A Watchman is not only to encourage and comfort those who are righteous, but they are to be warned, for many may have grown principled and secure, and have fallen, and even died in their sins. 

Surely then the hearers of the gospel should want warnings and even reproofs. Let us be forever indebted to the mediation of Yeshua (Christ), for the blessed communion between God and man.  And a true believer will say, I am never less alone than when thus alone.

When the Lord opens a Watchman’s mouth, he is to deliver his message boldly, to place life and death, the blessing, and the curse, before the people, and leave them to their choice.

CLOSING COMMENT by Robert

In studying to fulfill the Lord’s call, many areas of my life and walk have been uplifted and brought to a heightened sensitivity on a spiritual level. The messages at first, were delivered as given without any added knowledge.

As time went on, the Lord showed more information needed to be brought forward. Thus, the posting of articles became a part of the warnings, the style of the signs changed as well. The notifications now became articles showing the initial problem and a possible solution. 

The intent is to bring a warning to all non-believer and believer to discern there is a problem in their walk and lives, nothing more, as once revealed it becomes the individual’s responsibility to deal with, personal choice. 

OUR PRAYER

Father, through our unwavering faith, we bow before your throne to place our sincere gratitude for all you have provided as sustenance for our flock. We thank you, Lord, for deepening our faith and filling us with your wisdom to renounce the world. Bringing us the strength to demonstrate your love and compassion, that all might recognize your support. We ask you, Lord, for blessings to all who are doing your bidding in this walk of faith. This we pray in your name Yeshua, Amen, and Amen. 

Remember, these messages are given by a humble servant obedient to our Lord Yeshua as a Watchman. I pray for all.” Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river, which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua. “Blessings to All.” As you go forward in peace, knowledge, and strength.
