“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith.” (Hebrews 10:23).
How concerning these saving truths, they must be retained, and held fast, so the word can be translated. We will find the saving truths of the gospel must be fixed, centred in our thoughts, maintained and held fast, in our mind, to the end if we would be saved.
The Holy Spirit in this release reveals these truths, will not save us if we do not attend to them, yield to their power, and continue to do so to the end. He only that endureth to the end shall be saved, (Matthew 10:22.)
It will be shown we would believe in vain unless we continue and persevere in the faith of the gospel. That a temporary faith shall aggravate our guilt by relapsing into infidelity.
It is in vain to profess Spiritually, our faith in Yeshua if we deny His resurrection; you make nothing of Spirituality, and leave nothing for faith or hope to fix upon.
We are shown a humble spirit, in high attainments, is an excellent embellishment to any man. It sets his good qualities off to a much more significant advantage. How easily God can bring good out of the greatest evil!
When sinners are by divine grace turned into saints, he makes the remembrance of their former sins very serviceable, to make them humble, diligent, and faithful.
OUR PRAYER
Heavenly Father, as we bow before your throne and lay our petitions before you, we plead you hear our prayers. As our days become more treacherous and dangerous, we pray Lord for your guidance. We recognize Father those who desire to harm or prevent us from doing your work. They do not accept you or your compassion, forgiveness, or love. We give praise Lord for the protection you place us under and acknowledge You alone are our helper and uphold our souls. We know Father you will reward evil unto our enemies, cutting them off in your truth. We know Father it is You who will deliver us from all sin. This we give thanks for in the name of your Son, Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.
God is “a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness” (Psalm 86:15). Like all of God’s attributes, His compassion is infinite and eternal. His compassions never fail; they are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23).
When you have faith and courage of an obedient [child of God] to lead in Yeshua’s name, without fear, many will follow your light.
Robert
