But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Deuteronomy 28:15 KJV
OPENING COMMENT by Robert
Here is a question many non-believers are asking. How can a God who says he is a compassionate God allow sin to rage and continue to grow? How can a loving God allow someone to molest a woman and her daughter? How can God allow evil people to function in this world? How can this God ask me to forgive my attacker?
“Ok,” many religious leaders and scholars have heard these questions and have given as many answers to them. When I heard the questions spoken into reality, I knew the enemy was waiting in the background to pounce on my answer of justification as others have given.
What the Holy Spirit brought forward was the woman who spent all she had on doctors without success, understood that by faith, if she just reached out and touched the hem of Yeshua’s garment. She would be healed and as such strove to exercise her faith, did touch and was healed.
So, what does that have to do with the questions? “Everything.” The answer I am about to share many will not like, nor in many cases accept, especially those who have children in serious health conditions.
First, let me clarify my position on the health woes of the world. I have and will continue to share nothing that happens in the flesh, which first has already occurred in the spirit initially. This especially applies directly to health conditions, physically and mentally, as well.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
To those who can’t or won’t believe this. I refer you to the opening scripture, But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: Deuteronomy 28:15 KJV
We recognize in Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant God will make with all, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts and in their minds will I write them; These laws would be the Ten Commandments.
They are the basics of God’s Law to use as a template and foundation of our lives being the Ten Commandments. While we learn through a personal relationship with Yeshua, how to daily walk in His footsteps within these laws, which will draw us nearer to Yeshua in a personal relationship and ultimately, to our Father in heaven Yahewa.
According to the book of Hebrews, we understand, God has finished what He promised. And thus, now, because He has kept His word. It is our responsibility to know and follow them accordingly, whether walking in Salvation or walking as a Gentile outside of the knowledge. Having them in our hearts we must use them as guidance.
If men choose not to follow those laws they are reminded in Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Isreal, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the World.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
Here, it becomes important for an explanation of what the covenants meant to men as adopted children into the commonwealth of Isreal.
Yeshua, had indeed something more and greater in his view, in coming into the world, than merely to deliver us from the bondage of the ceremonial law for he came in our nature, and consented to suffer and die for us.
That hereby he might redeem us from the wrath of God, and from the curse of the moral law, which, as sinners, we all lay under. But that was one end of it, and mercy reserved to be bestowed at the time of his manifestation then the more servile state of the church was to come to a period.
And a better to succeed in the place of it, for he was sent to redeem us, that we might receive the adoption of sons, that we might no longer be accounted and treated as servants. But as sons have grown up to maturity, who are allowed greater freedoms, and admitted to larger privileges, than while they were under tutors and governors.
This the course of the apostle’s argument leads us to take notice of, as one thing intended by this expression, though no doubt it may also be understood as signifying that gracious adoption which the gospel so often speaks of as the privilege of those who believe in Christ.
Israel was God’s son, his first-born, (Romans 9:4). But now, under the gospel, particular believers receive the adoption and, as an earnest and evidence of it, they have together therewith the Spirit of adoption.
Putting them upon the duty of prayer, and enabling them in prayer to eye God as a Father (Galatians 4:6), Because you are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying Abba, Father.
And hereupon (Galatians 4:7) the apostle concludes this argument by adding, Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son and, if a son, then an heir of God through Christ that is.
Now, under the gospel state, we are no longer under the servitude of the law, but, upon our believing in Christ, become the sons of God we are thereupon accepted of him, and adopted by him and, being the sons, we are also heirs of God and are entitled to the heavenly inheritance (as he also reasons (Romans 8:17).
And therefore it must need to be the greatest weakness and folly to turn back to the law and to seek justification by the works of it. Here it is identified why the curses God set in place are able to function in the lives of many, known as Gentiles who are trapped in Satan’s grasp lies and delusions. Because they lack discernment understanding and wisdom to keep even the smallest of God’s Law. Remember the enemy operates best when a man is ignorant of his condition and the power of evil to destroy.
We have now presented to us the dark side, which is towards the disobedient. If we do not keep God’s commandments, we not only come short of the blessing promised, but we lay mankind under the curse, which is as comprehensive of all misery as the blessing is of all happiness.
Observe, I. The equity of this curse. It is not cursed causeless, nor for some light cause God seeks not occasion against us, nor is he apt to quarrel with us. That which is here mentioned as bringing the curse is,
1. Despising God, refusing to hearken to his voice (Deuteronomy 28:15), which bespeaks the highest contempt imaginable, as if what he said were not worth the heeding, or we were not under any obligation to him
2. Disobeying him, not doing his commandments, or not observing to do them. None fall under his curse but those that rebel against his command
3. Deserting him “It is because of the wickedness of thy doings, not only whereby thou hast slighted me, but whereby thou hast forsaken me,” Deuteronomy 28:20. God never casts us off till we first cast him off. It intimates that their idolatry, by which they forsook the true God for false gods, would be their destroying sin more than any other.
For those with discernment, it becomes clear the last three statements cover all questions of why the condition of the world is why it is, including the following questions many non-believers are asking. How can a God who says he is a compassionate God allow sin to rage and continue to grow? How can a loving God allow someone to molest a woman and her daughter? How can God allow evil people to function in this world? How can this God ask me to forgive my attacker?
We need to look at Deuteronomy 28:15 – 43 to recognize the answers to all of man’s questions about why God does anything, is with the actions put forth by Mankind.
Blessings brothers and sisters may you all walk in the light which has been shared with you, comforts you, and lights the narrow path so hard to find and maintain.
Again please remember this is just a humble servant doing the bidding of Yeshua (Jesus). I pray for a safe journey forward. A walk-in God’s love and peace, and may the “SHARING OF YOUR LIGHT” in the Den of wolves be fruitful, remember, He is always with you if you hold His love in your heart forever.
