In conversation with a military friend, our conversation swung to readiness

actually being mentally as well as physically and spiritually prepared.

John pointed out all of these features are interrelated in a warrior. However, he related the following event which occurred at the turn of the 19th Century and I am going to use it as an illustration of improper information affecting the engagement of an army going into battle. 

The gist of the story goes as follows, the battleground was set, the buildup had occurred, and the actual time for the attack to take place was determined. To fully comprehend why the result happened as it did, the battle was over in 15 mins. and the attacking force of seasoned warriors was totally wiped out. There were 500 souls taken in that span of time, The 500 were armed with shields of hard-faced leather and 5 foot Spears (2 per man) along with a machette style blade, and daggers. 

The defending force of 50 troops well-positioned and heavily equipped with repeating rifles, machine guns, mortars, grenades and sidearms. Stood their ground and within 15 mins wiped out the charging 500.

Some suggest it was a suicide mission on the part of those who were slaughtered, and in hindsight it was. In retrospect, when we analyze the preparation of the 500 for battle, it will show how they did not lack in the areas of Physical, Mental, or positional preparation. But most importantly it was their weaponry or lack of it which caused their downfall and demise.

This article will expose those areas lacking as spiritual information for the Assemblies Advanced Guard. As this is the most important to those within the Assembly who make up the Advanced Guard. It will answer questions about and provide the weaponry required for Spiritual battle. It will furnish information on how to obtain and learn the proper use of that weaponry. One of the more essential parts of this article will be how to identify our enemy because Satan and his minions are not always readily identifiable.

Father in heaven we have heard your warnings and are preparing for what is ahead. You Lord know our needs and requirements, We plead with you Father to bring into our lives your leadership skills, strengthen our determination, deepen our ability to discern, plan, and execute according to Your will Father. Identify our spiritual weapons and send through the Holy Spirit the knowledge to maintain and use our weapons effectively Lord. In all of this Lord, we pray in your name Yeshua,  Amen and Amen 

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

As I research and observe the preparation of those who are claiming the right as the Advanced Guard of the Assemblies. They are looking more and more like the 500, enthusiastic, devoted, dedicated and motivated to protect to stand on the frontline when required. The observation, these warriors should be commended as should the 500 unfortunately Posthumously. There was no backing down as the 500 believed they were ready no less than the modern-day Advanced Guard believe.

However, they are only partially correct, going forward, it becomes clear the modern-day Advanced Guard is as ready as the 500 were, but the same mistake is about to be repeated, sending a force into battle Spiritually under-equipped.

These Spiritual warriors do not lack enthusiasm nor fervour and determination to fulfill the call but do lack the proper weaponry to face the enemies advancement against them. 

Let’s say I proposed this question, Do you believe “Honest Souls can be Deceived”? One of the reasons I am asking this question, because the deceiver, who has mislead other’s has special wiles prepared for those “Advanced Guards.” And like the 500 who were not properly equipped will charge into a spiritual slaughter. And the honest and earnest believers will continue to cry over the powerlessness of the true Assembly of Yeshua unless their warriors become properly trained and equipped.

Jesse Penn Lewis (1861 – 1927) authored and in collaboration with Mr. Evan Roberts the famous Welsh revivalist, Published their Book “War on the Saints” in 1912. I will be referencing this book because it appeals to two different classes of readers. Those involved in a false system of religious teachings. And those who are dedicated believers and find themselves faced with cases of spiritual abnormality, needing spiritual weaponry through information, knowledge and guidance.

Please note: Ms. Penn-Lewis in publishing her findings was misunderstood and misinterpreted. I believe will occur again as our enemy does not want to be discovered. Satan does not want his tactics of introducing Spiritism and Christian Science and other “isms” into the modern-day Churchs which have captured thousands into his deceptions, thus weakening the “Advanced Guards” like the 500 who were partially prepared Physically, Emotionally but are lacking the Spiritual weapons to wage an effective campaign.

Heavenly Father hear our petition which we place before your throne! We humbly ask for your wisdom, meekness, humility, patience, understanding, strength discernment and courage to fill us as we are being prepared for the Heavenly Gifts you choose to bestow upon us through the “Holy Spirit’s teachings.” We ask this in all humility and meekness in your name Yeshua. Bring upon us Father your words as promised in times of need to remove the spirit of fear from our minds fill it with your knowledge as you did Yeshua in his time of need. We humbly in reverence for your greatness Father petition for your kindness to be upon us.  This we pray in Yeshua’s name Amen and Amen.

The first piece of new weaponry will be the dispelling of myths by introducing truths and showing how the enemy has disguised his lies. The answer to the question, Do you believe “Honest Souls can be Deceived”?  Ms. Penn-Lewis reveals that over the last 2000 years, Satan has lured “honest seekers after God” all so sure knowing the sidetracking of others before them, they would never be caught by the wiles of Satan. Ms. Penn-Lewis points out as evidence the aftermath of the “Revival in Wales, being a true work of God, revealed numbers of “honest souls” swept off their feet by supernatural powers. And later there were other “movements” showing large numbers of earnest servants of God swept into deception.

To be honest all we need do is look at the condition of the modern-day churches to recognize which of Satans wiles are manifesting in them. As an example same-sex marriages, spiritualists operating as leaders of congregations. The movement of God is Love and forgives all. And the shirking of responsibility by not acknowledging God is Just, being ignored and denied is evidence enough of Satan’s deceptions within the Churches. And witness that their god has been brought down to man’s level of morality and compassion. (Romans 1:23)

Ok, enough talking about what’s wrong, now we need to bring in Scriptural support for our “Advanced Guard.” One teaching coming up short is the thought” that to be true in motive, and faithful up to the light is sufficient to safeguard against deception, the truth “it is not.“

The following statement is important; Believers who are true and faithful, and honest, can be deceived by Satan, for the following reason: Deception has to do with the mind, and it means a wrong thought admitted to the mind, under the deception that it is the truth. Since “deception” is based on ignorance, and not on moral character; a Christian who is “true” and “Faithful” up to the knowledge he has, must be open to deception in the sphere where he is ignorant of the “devices” of the devil (2Cor. 2:11), and what he is able to do. A “true” and “faithful” Christian is liable to be “deceived” by the devil because of his ignorance. 

The convincing part of this is when in Luke 21:8 Yeshua said to his disciples Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near; go ye not therefore after them. Now to further dispell the myth we look to 1Corinthians 15:33 Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Or in Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 

So the arming of the “Advanced Guard” will be “knowledge“  he is able to be deceived, becoming a part of his weaponry against deception. Their minds now open to truth and the light from God a primary condition for keeping the power of God. This weapon is so important when engaged in Spiritual Battles.

Here is another piece of weaponry through knowledge from the following comparison of Truth and Counterfeit and recognizing it. Truth: Consciousness of God: Felt in the spirit, and not by the physical senses. Yeshua, on the eve of Crucifixion concerning the coming of the Holy Spirit to the believer “I will manifest Myself unto him (John 14:21) 

Now we compare the counterfeit: “Consciousness” of “God” in bodily sensations, which feed the “flesh” and overpower the true spirits-sense. The senses are still Satans way of approach. Let the soul admit craving for beautiful emotions, happy feelings, overwhelming joy, and the conception that “manifestations” and “signs” are necessary to prove the presence of God.

Satan knows how to soothe, and move, and work upon the senses in every possible way and form of Religion ever known. We see even God knows Satans power over man Job 1: 12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only, upon himself, put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord. 

We find a hidden truth which becomes another source of a weapon In Job 1:10 Satan confirms God’s protection for those who are righteous and upright: Hast, not thou made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. 

Satan in his observation in Job1:10 has identified another source of weaponry for those in the “Advanced Guard” who had the knowledge to be upright and righteous in Gods eyes, would have a hedge around them their families and homes.

It is time to conclude this article but to continue the research for additional arming of the “Advanced Guard.” The final piece of understanding to be shared here is “Whether we acknowledge it or not all those who walk in Yeshua’s light are a part of the Guard who in knowledge strength and courage will stand against the evil in and around all believers.

I remind everyone to etch this weapon into your mind, our worship of Yeshua, is where two or three are gathered in his name, there I will be present. Matt. 18:20. This article is just the beginning of building up our armoury and “Advanced Guard.” There is more to come for those committed to Yeshua.
