OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

Here I say more than ever as we go through this current Malady. The following applies directly to all within Yeshua’s flock. I desire to offer from the article “ARE YOU KNOWN BY YOUR FRUITS,” published Mar.22, 2020, this quote by Matthew Henry’s (1662 – 1774) comments on Matthew 18:20 as they have given me and I hope those who have read this article a fresh perspective and approach to casting your nets into the darkness. I believe in his words, we have found Apostle Paul’s answer to how he dealt with the abuses he suffered.

“If a professed Believer is wronged by another, he ought not to complain of it to others, as is often done merely upon report, but to go to the offender privately, state the matter kindly, and show him his conduct. This would generally have all the desired effect with a True Believer, and the parties would be reconciled.

The principles of these rules may be practiced everywhere, and under all circumstances, though they are too excessively neglected by all. But how few try the method which Yeshua has expressly enjoined to all his disciples! In all our proceedings, we should seek direction in prayer; we cannot too highly prize the promises of God. Wherever and whenever we meet in the name of Yeshua, we should consider him as present in the midst of us.”

Now having this example before us, you would think to go forward should be a whole lot less complicated and with fewer distractions. How better to diffuse the enemy than by confronting him directly and actually demonstrating God’s strength, love, compassion and desire to save all, especially having Yeshua present to make it happen.

Go in peace and harmony, knowing you have a template for success given by the Holy Spirit. Only fear God, not anything the world may present as a malady or criticism. In God’s name, be strong as an example demonstrating Yeshua’s deity.

CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert

Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. Isaiah 26:20

Into chambers of devotion, “Enter into thy closet, and shut thy door, Matthew 6:6. Be private with God: Enter into thy chamber, to examine thyself, and commune with thy own heart, to pray and humble thyself before God” This work is to be done in times of distress and danger. Thus we hide. That is, we recommend ourselves to God to protect us, and he will defend us either under heaven or in heaven.

This current Malady has presented the world and the population an opportunity to recognize one fundamental issue in their lives their “mortality.” Fear has brought the world to a standstill, it has forced a halt, in modern terms, society has had to push the pause button on their lives.

For the multitudes walking in the world, it had placed them before lifes mirror and placed the reality, their time here in this world could be ended, and a final judgment faced, the fear they face is possibly falling short or plainly not having been obedient.

Those walking with Yeshua, as well are, being placed before lifes mirror, to reflect on their walk and possible connection to the temptations of the world, which might affect their eternal position. It’s a time to reflect on how mingling with those walking in the world may cause a stumble and how at this time, are being cautioned and called to depart from those ways and habits.

We find in Matthew Henry’s commentary some facts bringing discernment into our current assessments. Works of charity, like other good works, should be done with thought and design, whereas some do good only by accident.

Persons sometimes will give merely to satisfy the importunity of those who ask their charity, and what they offer is in a manner squeezed or forced from them, and this unwillingness spoils all they do. We ought to give more freely than the modesty of some necessitous persons will allow them to ask: we should not only deal out bread but draw out our souls to the hungry, Isaiah 58:10.

I desire to share an occurrence in one of my group postings and the reply from one trapped in the darkness. I will call Gordon. What I am posting here is one of his responses in a conversation we had earlier today,

Gordon, “Robert Rombough.” And you are a religious lunatic and beyond any help, so give this snake oil you are pedalling a rest.

My reply I consider a donation or better still, seed planting. Gordon, “Oh, Oh,” we know when one resorts to name-calling, they have nothing legitimate to say. First, understand I do not walk in religion. However, walk with light as my guide through this life, as religious ceremonies offer nothing, and what I follow allows me to live a free life and deal with those who are trapped in darkness, despair and overall fear of their mortality. Many not realizing they walk in a delusion believing they are alive when in reality they walk in fear. 

Tell me, your not afraid to die or fearful of what lies ahead, Gordon? I have no fear of my mortality, Gordon. If that’s lunacy, then what do you call your journey into eventual Eternity? 

Snake oil is a concoction designed to fool people, what I share is not a concoction Gordon, it’s knowledge, understanding, wisdom and the ability to discern the difference of what is a delusion and what leads to the path of peace in our eternal life.

You see Gordon what is occurring, through this pandemic, I believe, God is making the world’s population pause what they were doing, remove themselves from being busy and take a look in life’s mirror of where they are in their mortality. Of course, the first reaction is “FEAR” Gordon, fear of their death.

Many will say how can you state that God is behind this malady, stop, pause and consider who has the power to shut down the whole world isolate the population, empty the streets of the most populated cities of the world, only God, Gordon.

For those in the world, will only listen to the professionals, doctors, virologists and specialists in the field of pandemics. In the name of prevention and fear of death will isolate themselves, by shutting down all forms of business to prevent them from having to deal with their possible mortality.

Those walking with Yeshua, will through the Holy Spirits guidance find scripture instructing them in obedience to isolate themselves. Isaiah 26:20. Now here is where it becomes interesting, as God is not only having the world look at their mortality or possible demise. He has believers looking at their involvement within their walk with the world’s temptations as part of their assessment of their walk which may affect their eternity.

It is wrong for believers to join with the wicked and profane. The word unbeliever applies to all destitute of true faith. True pastors will caution their beloved children in the gospel, not to be unequally yoked. The fatal effects of neglecting Scripture precepts as to marriages clearly appear. Instead of a helpmeet, the union brings a snare. Those whose cross it is to be unequally united, without their wilful fault, may expect consolation under it; but when believers enter into such unions, against the express warnings of God’s word, they must expect must distress. The caution also extends to common conversation. We should not join in friendship and acquaintance with wicked men and unbelievers.

Though we cannot wholly avoid seeing and hearing, and being with such, yet we should never choose them for friends. We must not defile ourselves by converse with those who defile themselves with sin. Come out from the workers of iniquity, and separate from their vain and sinful pleasures and pursuits; from all conformity to the corruptions of this present evil world. If it is an envied privilege to be the son or daughter of an earthly prince, who can express the dignity and happiness of being sons and daughters of the Almighty?

Remember, these messages are from a humble servant being obedient to our Lord Yeshua as a Watchman. I pray for all. ” Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua. “Blessings to All.”  As you go forward in peace.
