“And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. [4] Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength: Isaiah 26:3-4 KJV
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
“TRUST.” A personal sharing of how to relieve the feeling of being alone. Or one that you’re not being recognized for your efforts.
Here’s how it works, when any of your feelings of loneliness, despair, anger, frustration, take hold, take a second look into the mirror and smile, I mean a real sincere smile. It works instantly, you’ll catch yourself smiling back. Without question, the only other thing more contagious than a smile is a yawn. My challenge to you is to try this.
This was brought to me by the Holy Spirit during the time I was dealing with my eldest son’s passing, a period in my life when I felt totally abandoned. And I found that even with those feelings, I could not resist a smile, not even my own.
There were times when I questioned what I was doing and felt like I was the only one going through this ordeal. So here goes, place a mirror on your desk or in an area you can easily see your image that includes your car, Ladies if walking a makeup mirror works. Guys a reflection in a window your passing.
Funny how our Lord works, how He allows His presence with us to be known (through our sincere smile reflected back at us). It took a while to recognize what gift the Holy Spirit was sharing through Hebrews 12:3, For consider Yeshua that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest you be weary and faint in your minds.
After prayer and meditation, this was revealed through Matthew Henry’s commentary; There is a proneness in the best to grow weary and to faint under their trials and afflictions, especially when they prove burdensome and of long continuance. This proceeds from the imperfections of grace and the remains of corruption.
The best way to prevent this is to look unto Yeshua (we are made in God’s image, our smile is His smile looking back at us) and to consider him. Faith and meditation will fetch in fresh supplies of strength, comfort, and courage, for he has assured, if we suffer with him, we shall also reign with him: and this hope will be your Helmut.
Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth fruit in his season his leaf also shall not wither and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
SMILES, “bring blessings unto to those receiving your smile, even as a reflection, of the Love, you hold for Yeshua.” Robert Rombough
Someone asked me to define what a smile is: “Trust In Action.”
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
But immediately Jesus spoke unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. 14:28 And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it is you, bid me come unto you on the water. 14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. 4:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. Matthew 14:27 – 30
The depth of Peter’s love is totally on display here in his words, actions and the “TRUST” eventually displayed as he stepped out of the boat. Peter’s actions at that moment became the reflection of every individual coming to Salvation. His trust in the love he held for Yeshua was huge at that very moment.
As is the trust of those stepping into their new life with Yeshua. Like Peter, some will see the turmoil and falter, crying out for help. Others will fall away as their trust in the Lord’s words was minimal.
Here is my point, our journey is like the ocean and we see the Lord in the distance and hear him call to join him and like Peter, through our newfound trust, we step forward to join him. It is here we as born again believers, have our faith and trust in Yeshua and what we have received through the Holy Spirit, majorly tested.
Like Peter who saw turmoil, there will be moments of turmoil in our lives and we will begin to flounder and sink. It is here we will reach out through our faith and trust and will call for Yeshua to rescue us as did Peter. For some, whose trust is not there, they will continue to flounder in the temptations and pitfalls before them.
To further bring the importance of trust within our faith I am including this audio blog (with Nicholas’s permission) as a testimony of God’s power and work being done.
The following blog is a testimony of the power of the building of faith, in and through prayer. The Lord some years ago blessed me by introducing me through Twitter to Nicholas and Kristeen. He revealed Kristeen’s malady (4th stage Lung cancer), through her tweets. He allowed me to see her strength, determination and most of all her fearless faith.
Yeshua made me aware this woman should garner support, not monetary on my part, but spiritually. Over time and through the leadership of the Holy Spirit trust between both Nicholas and Kristeen was gained.
The Lord had me feeding their souls, with scripture meant to deepen and draw those receiving it into Yeshua’s courtyard. My words were as the Watchman coming as God’s wisdom to what peril lay ahead and scripture on how like Yeshua in the desert (was faced with pure evil) dealt with it. All things are possible through Him.
Remember, these articles are given as warnings from a humble servant as God’s Watchman bringing His warnings to the flock of impending dangers. I pray for all to be covered with Yeshua’s blessings. Be at peace and in faith as you journey forward doing God’s calling and work. As Yeshua said, be as wise as a serpent and gentle as a dove. Times are now, we must all be aware of our surroundings, and who it is we are dealing with. “And Yeshua through the Holy Spirit said unto us, “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
In God, we TRUST in all Things.
