I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that bears no fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit. (John 15:1-2)
PRE-AMBLE by Robert
The following is taken from the release “HARKEN TO GOD’S WARNING’S” Published Jan. 25, 2020. “Someone related, people really don’t want the complete truth in their lives. So why are you presenting what they are not wanting?”
Being in prayer and meditation, lead me, to this recognition. “If the whole truth frightens you or offends you in any way, perhaps, you need to stop fooling yourself that half-truths are going to keep you on the narrow path to eternal peace and life. Best you stop and reflect, to observe where you are positioned in your walk.”
This release is revealing what occurs to those who walk in half-truths or false declarations of servitude to Yeshua. It will show how all are attached to the root, how strong we are as a believer, while attached to the root. Who is maintaining the garden, how our sustenance is provided. What happens to those bearing fruit and why. We will recognize how we contribute to the bearing of the fruit and its eventual effects.
OPENING PRAYER by Robert
Father in heaven, we are calling out Lord to the multitudes to know your love, compassion, and forgiveness. We ask Father for your wisdom and discernment to demonstrate your greatness that they would know you as God. Fill us with the strength to endure all the attacks of the enemy. Polish us Lord that we might shine brightly before their eyes as we demonstrate your love for us so the multitudes would know it is you who is lifting us above the evil in this world. It is you who has freed us from the snares and trappings of Satan. That they would know it is through you Lord all Sapplings become branches bearing fruit. Demonstrate through us Lord your greatness so they would see your sacrifice and know you are the Son of God. This we pray in your name Yeshua Amen and Amen.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
There are two types of vines attached to the root some are Saplings, some are Twigs. That Yeshua is the vine, the true vine. It is an instance of the humility of Yeshua that he is pleased to speak of himself under low and humble comparisons. He is the Sun of righteousness, and the bright and morning Star compares himself to a vine. The assembly, which is Yeshua mystical, is a vine (Psalms 80:8), so is Yeshua, who is the assembly seminal. Yeshua and his assemblage thus set forth (1) He is the vine, planted in the vineyard, and not a spontaneous product planted in the earth, for he is the Word made flesh.
The vine has an unsightly unpromising outside and Yeshua had no form nor comeliness, (Isaiah 53:2). The vine is a spreading plant, and Yeshua will be known as salvation to the ends of the earth.
That believers are branches of this vine, which supposes that Yeshua is the root of the vine. The root is unseen, and our life is hidden with Yeshua the root bears the tree (Romans 11:18), diffuses sap to it, and is all in all to its flourishing and fruitfulness and in Yeshua are all supports and supplies.
The branches of the vine are many, some on one side of the house or wall, others on the other side yet, meeting in the root, are all but one vine thus all good Believers, though in place and opinion distant from each other, yet meet in Christ, the centre of their unity. Believers, like the branches of the vine, are weak, and insufficient to stand of themselves, but as they are borne up. See (Ezekiel 15:2).
That the Father is the husbandman, georgos–the land-worker. Though the earth is the Lord’s, it yields him no fruit unless he works it. God has not only propriety in, but the care of, the vine and all the branches. He hath planted, and watered, and gives the increase for we are God’s husbandry, (1 Corinthians 3:9. See Isaiah 5:1,2,27:2,3).
The duty taught us by this similitude, which is to bring forth fruit, and, in order to do this, to abide in Yeshua.
We must be fruitful. From a vine, we look for grapes (Isaiah 5:2), and from a Believer, we look for Spirituality. This is the fruit, a Spiritual temper and disposition, Spiritual life and conversation, Spiritual devotions and Spiritual designs. We must honour God, and do good, and exemplify the purity and power of the Spirituality we profess, and this is bearing fruit.
The disciples here must be fruitful, as Believers in all the fruits of righteousness, and as apostles, in diffusing the savour of the knowledge of Yeshua. We are then brought to the last part of God’s promise.
The doom of the unfruitful (John 15:2): They are taken away:
[1] Here many pass for branches in Yeshua who yet do not bear fruit. Were they really united to Yeshua by faith, they would bear fruit but are only tied to him by the thread of an outward profession, though they seem to be branches, they will soon be seen to be Twigs. Unfruitful professors are unfaithful professors and no more. It might be read, Every branch that beareth not fruit in me, and it comes much to one for those that do not bear fruit in Yeshua, and in his Spirit and grace, are as if they bore no fruit at all, (Hosea 10:1)
[2] It is here they shall be taken away, injustice to them and in kindness to the rest of the branches. From him, that has no real union with Yeshua, and fruit produced thereby shall be taken away even that which he seemed to have (Luke 8:18).
Further fruitfulness is the blessed reward of forwarding fruitfulness. The first blessing was, Be fruitful and it is still a great blessing. Even fruitful branches, in order to their further fruitfulness, have need of purging or pruning kathairei–he taketh away that which is superfluous and luxuriant, which hinders its growth and fruitfulness. The best have that in them something which needs to be taken away notions, and passions, that want to be purged away, which Yeshua has promised to do by his word, Spirit, and providence. And these shall be taken off by degrees in the proper season. The purging of fruitful branches, in order to their greater fruitfulness, is the care and work of the great husbandman, for his own glory.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
I am not going to spend any time discussing the Twigs, my focus is on identifying why the Saplings are strengthened and brought to fruition. Research reveals Yeshua’s intention was to found a Church, a communion, a brotherhood, and all His language looks that way:
“One is your Master, and all ye are brethren”; “So let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven” And of like character is the teaching of the Epistles: “Be kindly affectioned in love of the brethren”; [Romans 12:10] “Let brotherly love continue” [Hebrews 13:1]
We are in no way surprised therefore when Peter turns from his exhortations to personal sobriety, obedience, and holiness, and addresses the converts on the application of these virtues, that through them they may bind in closer bonds the brotherhood of Yeshua.
As a caution, so we might present ourselves, as a fruitful branch, sets before us the vanity of the natural man. Taking him with all his ornaments and advantages about him.
Peter uses the analogy, all flesh is as grass and all the glory of man as the flower of grass, and nothing can make him a solid substantial being, but being born again of the incorruptible seed. The word, of God, will transform into a most excellent creature, whose glory will not fade like a flower, but shine like an angel. And this word is what we set daily as an example in the sharing of the gospel.
Peter brought forward an example we can demonstrate to the occupants of the Den. So they can hear and comprehend what their position, their current life is presenting to them. Man, in his utmost flourish and glory, is still a withering, fading, dying, being.
Peter, relates in his entrance into the world, in his life and in his fall, he is similar to grass. His wit, beauty, strength, vigour, wealth, honour, these are but as the flower of grass, which soon withers and dies away.
As we relate this to the occupants of the Den, we can share there is an answer to this dilemma of their perishing, by explaining to render them as solid and incorruptible, is for them to entertain and receive the word of God. This remains as everlasting truth, and, if received will preserve them to everlasting life, and abide with them forever.
I reiterate this recognition. “If the whole truth frightens you or offends you in any way, perhaps, Best you stop and reflect, to observe where you are positioned in your walk.” My closing question for all who have read this article. “Are you a fruitful branch or Twig?
