PRE-AMBLE by Robert

“OK,” there needs to be particular attention paid to what the Holy Spirit revealed as a weakness. “Ignorance” on the part of believers towards the inner workings, the

more in-depth definitions of our walk on a spiritual level. This article is a continuation of the first article “IF I TOLD YOU.” We were shown how a unit of 500 warriors all well-trained fighters was in 15 minutes slaughtered. They had the heart and desire to win, however, because they were improperly equipped. The article went on to identify a special unit called “The Advanced Guard” who are to engage the enemies of the Assemblies through Spiritual engagement. It revealed similarities to the 500 being ready and willing, however again under-equipped spiritually. 

The article is not questioning the sincerity of the followers, it is challenging them to search the depth of their relationship with Yeshua. It will bring forward a deeper understanding of scriptures and how they apply as weapons when evil is confronted. It will explain how the enemy presents himself and how subtle evil can be. It exposes some of the reasons our “Advance Guards” have been ineffective.

OPENING PRAYER by Robert

Heavenly Father, we know the heart must be purified by faith and kept for you, Lord. Create in us such a clean heart, O God. None but the pure are capable of seeing You Father, nor would heaven be happiness to the impure. As you Lord cannot endure looking upon their iniquity, so they cannot look upon your purity. Bring us knowledge, and Understanding taking us deeper into our relationship with you, Lord. Fill us with courage removing all fears replacing it with determination to stand in your Light and Love Father. We pray this in your name Yeshua, Amen and Amen. 

 OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

The first sign there is a flaw in one’s walk is when a particular crack is exposed, and our first response is a form of offence taken. Remember nobody is challenging your belief or walk, there is no reason for this response, other than ego or pride. Your walk is accepted as being firm. Otherwise, you would not be having that response, God knows your heart. What was revealed in the story about the 500 was they personally were firm. It was how they were equipped, which was their eventual demise.

 The objective now is to equip the “Advanced Guard.” so when up against the enemy in any form of battle, you as part of the Guard, are adequately fitted with weapons for Spiritual Engagement. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. This verse usually is taken lightly because of the enemy having in place the following Myth By Satan, honest seekers after God cannot be deceived, this is untrue as was shown in the previous article. 

Jesse Penn-Lewis, in her book “War On the Saints” the unabridged edition published 1972,  points out this is why it is essential for us to measure our walk. Not to take it for granted, not be overconfident but be assessing it learning more about it, so we stand on solid grounds.

 Ms. Penn-Lewis points out: “Since evil spirits can counterfeit God as Father, Son, and or Holy Spirit, the believer also needs to understand very clearly the principles upon which God works. To detect between the Divine and the Satanic workings, there is a gift available for detecting this. Through the gift of discerning of spirits and along with a test of spirits, which is doctrinal. 

The seriousness of our battles now becomes clear. This gift goes as follows: You need knowledge in both cases; experience to read his spirit with assurance in the face of all contrary appearances, that the supernatural workings are “of God”; and wisdom to detect the subtlety of “teachings” bearing specific infallible indications that they emanate from the pit, while appearing to be from God.

Matt. 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

CLOSING PRAYER by Robert

Thank you, Father, in heaven for the knowledge to recognize all the gifts, which You have bestowed into our relationship. I pray Lord for all to be guided through the Holy Spirit to learn the full use of their discernment. Bring into our lives Father the strength to accept your teachings as food for the spirit and soul to nurture our growth. Open our minds to receive our personal reviews once we complete our own assessments, so we might with humbleness bring before your throne those areas of our walk needing your guidance, correction, and forgiveness. In all things, Father, we pray in the name of Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.

 

CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert

Recognize as believers there is always some form of spiritual embattlement being waged against the followers of Yeshua. I recognize not all desire to be a part of the advance guard; however, I also understand our walk is not without confrontations, temptations, challenges, testings, and being fired for purification. In all of this, we must be sincerely grounded and informed, who it is standing, next to us and who it is, we are confronting. Without continuous teachings continuous self-assessing we will be like the 500 were sure and confident partially informed but under-equipped and defeated in 15 mins or less if overconfident. 

It matters not whether we are on the front lines as the “Advanced Guard” or a Modern Day Disciple, a Beacon on the Hill, or Fishers of Men. We must always even though we go forward in meekness and peace, always be prepared to defend our position and relationship with Yeshua it’s called working out your Salvation. I again refer to Peter Marshal’s sermon I like the 12 Apostles, desire to follow the Lord Yeshua whose Carpenters hands were strong and sure, whose walk was confident, and demeanour radiated the Peace, Love, and acceptance of all within Him. 

Remember, these messages are given by a humble servant obedient unto our Lord Yeshua as a “Watchman.” This I pray for all. ”Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua.“ “Blessings to All.”  As you go forward in peace, knowledge, and strength. In the name of Yeshua, we pray Amen and Amen.
