“WILL GOD’S WORK BE SEEN?”

Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6

PRE-AMBLE by Robert.

5162677c498580ec6e6246309171a1cf4272848339864308370.jpgThe believing hope and prospect of eternal life should engage us to be steady, even, and constant, in our pursuit of Eternal life and Peace, as followers of Yeshua. The Apostle Paul set an example for all who follow our Lord’s calling to share His word, love and compassion. Paul even though he suffered hard things being scourged, being put in the stocks (Acts 16:23,24) had no less kindness for those of Phillipi.

This article will show how to example God’s love and patience to even just one. It will encourage many to continue enduring whatever the world brings against you. You will recognize how God’s love as a seed in one will grow to be a solid Assembly filled with Yeshua’s compassion. We will learn even if there is a great distance between us, ministering can be and is just as powerful as being in the presence of the flock.

OPENING PRAYER by Robert

Heavenly Father I want to thank you for searching the depth of our faith. Bring unto them a spirit of calm so any decision they are about to make in respect to their spiritual walk and relationship with you Lord would be an informed one void of emotions and worldly desires. I ask Lord you would remove any cords and bindings causing confusion of their minds. So, they might receive all and any information the Holy Spirit, will reveal to be used as the foundation of their future spiritual decisions as they continue their journey. I pray this in your name in the name of Yeshua AMEN and AMEN.“

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

Matthew Henry’s comments on Philippians 1:21-26 reveal the depth of Pauls feelings 73058eced57e3a9ff64c5f6e919e01278923102786549023538.jpgfor the Phillippi. He loved them, and loved them dearly: Dearly beloved and again, My dearly beloved. Warm affections become ministers and Believers towards one another. Brotherly love must always go along with brotherly relation. He loved them and longed for them, longed to see them and hear from them, longed for their welfare and was earnestly desirous of it. I long after you all in the bowels of Yeshua, (Philippians 1:8). He loved them and rejoiced in them. They were his joy he had no greater joy than to hear of their spiritual health and prosperity. I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in the truth, (2 John 4; 3 John 4). He loved them and gloried in them. They were his crown as well as his joy. Never was proud ambitious man more pleased with the ensigns of honour than Paul was with the evidence of the sincerity of their faith and obedience. All this is to prepare his way to greater regard.

Death is a great loss to a carnal, worldly man, for he loses all his earthly HADES 2comforts and all his hopes; but to a true believer, it is gain, for it is the end of all his weakness and misery. It delivers him from all the evils of life and brings him to possess the chief good. The apostle’s difficulty was not between living in this world and living in heaven; between these two there is no comparison, but between serving Yeshua in this world and enjoying him in another. Not between two evil things, but between two good things; living to Christ and being with him. See the power of faith and of Divine grace; it can make us willing to die. In this world we are compassed with sin; but when with Christ, we shall escape sin and temptation, sorrow and death, forever. But those who have the most reason to desire to depart should be willing to remain in the world as long as God has any work for them to do. And the more unexpected mercies are before they come, the more of God will be seen in them.”

Nor can we too earnestly guard against those who oppose or abuse the doctrine of 97508e257c7eea9aec8ed30eaa05d89f3563963924950639746.jpgfree salvation. If the apostle would have gloried and trusted in the flesh, he had as much cause as any man. But the things which he counted gain while a Pharisee, and had reckoned up, those he counted loss for Christ. The apostle did not persuade them to do anything but what he himself did or to venture on anything but that on which he himself ventured his never-dying soul. He deemed all these things to be but loss, compared with the knowledge of Yeshua, by faith in his person and salvation. He speaks of all worldly enjoyments and outward privileges which sought a place with Yeshua in his heart, or could pretend to any merit and desert, and counted them but loss; but it might be said, It is easy to say so; but what would he do when he came to the trial?

CLOSING PRAYER by Robert

Lord as our Father in heaven, hear our cries for your leadership, guidance, and PARABLE OF GOOD SAMARITAN 1knowledge so we might demonstrate a reliable description of your glory. Bring us through all the trials and tribulations Satan may place as roadblocks of the truth. Fill us with your words describing the power of your love which will lead to your grace and forgiveness and salvation the beginning of our actual journey as your servants. Father, deepen our fervour for your presence, share with us the spirit to advance into all the areas needing your light and words of truth to be divided. Brighten our zeal, so we like you will have those who walk in darkness and sin join us as we dine at your table. We pray this in your name Yeshua, Amen and Amen.

CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert

Avarice, uncleanness, cruelty, are rampant in our world today. Faith in God, in goodness, and in immortality are waning. “What is the truth?” Is the despairing question of the age. Is the gospel going to flash upon this scene of moral confusion, will truth, be a revelation from heaven? Will it bring before the eyes of men, life and a Saviour? Will the world see a perfect life; not a mere ideal, but a real life; a life that stands alone, separate from all other lives; unique in its solitary majesty, in its unearthly loveliness, in its absolute purity, in its entire unselfishness. Will the world see the beauty of complete self-sacrifice, and this life is not merely a thing past and gone. It is still living, it is still living in God’s Assembly. The life of Yeshua lives in his saints. They feel it: “Not I, but Yeshua liveth in me.” They tell others the blessed realities of their own spiritual experience. They are in earnest; that is plain: they have nothing to gain in the world.

As an example, we see the Apostle Paul especially had renounced a career most tempting to Hebrew ambition, for a life of unceasing labour, a life full of hardships, persecutions, dangers, and evidently destined to end in a violent death.

Paul was in earnest, certainly; he was consumed with an untiring zeal; in spite of many personal disadvantages, much natural timidity, the constraining love of Yeshua urged him to spend and to be spent in his Saviour’s work. And in that work, amid all its difficulties, anxieties, and dangers, he found a deep and living joy, a joy among tears; “sorrowing,” he said of himself, “yet always rejoicing.” Joy, he felt and taught, was the privilege and the duty of a Believer, who knew that he was redeemed with the precious blood of Yeshua, that the Holy Spirit was sanctifying him, that God the Father had chosen him to be his own. As God is today with those who like Paul choose to spend their lives in the Saviour’s work.
