He that loveth his life shall lose it. And he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
PRE-AMBLE by Robert
I have often pondered the word “love” as the Lord uses it. What comes to mind when Yeshua tells us to “love” is the following, which I believe is a gift from, “Yeshua,” through the Holy Spirit: “Learn, One, Verse, Everyday.” In this context, I think our Lord has given us a template to apply when we find ourselves being guided on how to apply scripture to any given situation where we need to use “love.”
OPENING PRAYER by Robert
Father, through our unwavering faith, we bow before your throne to place our sincere gratitude for all you have provided as sustenance for our families. We thank you, Lord, for deepening our faith and filling us with your wisdom to renounce the world. Bringing us the strength to demonstrate your love and compassion, that all might recognize your support. We ask you Lord for blessings to all who are doing your bidding in this walk of faith. This we pray in your name Yeshua, Amen, and Amen.
OPENING STATEMENT by Robert
Here is an example: In Matthew 5:43., we receive instructions; All of you have heard that it has been said, You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.
Ok, how would we know what to apply to our neighbor as being love? Considering our neighbor could be our enemy. By applying the teaching from the Holy Spirit, we would seek out one verse to provide us with the material and information on how to apply love to our neighbor.
In our research, we would find in Matt.5:44 the answer as provided by Yeshua. “But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.” In using the template provided, we would find ourselves truly walking as Yeshua is mentoring us to do Learn One Verse Everyday.
As a result, this form of mentoring allows for further research; for instance, our follow up would be found in Matthew 22:37-39, “Yeshua said unto him: “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
In all of this, we have initially presented an understanding of how to deal with our neighbor who may represent themselves as an enemy. Then we find by treating all as our neighbor we genuinely are dealing with ourselves.
Our journey through our daily seeking a verse takes us to a warning in Luke 20:46 Beware of scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feasts.
CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert
These examples have given a running look of how diversified and robust God’s “LOVE” for us is when applied as He meant it to be understood and applied.
In closing one last example from John 13:35, “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples if ye have love one to another.“
What a beautiful gift “Yeshua,” through the Holy Spirit, has placed before us a tool to discern with [Learn, One, Verse, Every day.]” Which will place before us the answers we need spiritually to walk under God’s Grace, once we learn how to use it effectively.
Remember, these messages are from a humble servant being obedient unto our Lord Yeshua as a Watchman. This I pray for all. ” Our Heavenly Father brings us to the river which bringeth forth fruit so we may partake of its sustenance and be filled spiritually with nurturing wisdom, and humble dedication in service to Yeshua. “Blessings to All.” As you go forward in peace.“

Thanks for writing this post on learning one verse a day. I think there is a lot of wisdom in being about to mediate and memorize on God’s Word. As He tells us to have the “mind of Christ.” Blessings!
