“10 RIGHTEOUS”

And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once. Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.” Genesis 18:32.

 

PRE-AMBLE by Robert

I was queried why my messages are to those who proclaim they walk in righteousness being righteous?” This brought about a period of prayer and meditation, to find an answer, why! The first answer was easy, as a Watchman, it is my duty to bring the Lord’s warnings to His flock (Ezekiel 33: 2 – 20). But there was more in my heart, this was not the complete answer, and I continued to place this before the Lord’s throne. These prayers are not current; they were placed before our Father several months past.

What I was given as an answer to my prayer is now shared in the following article. I cover from the Old Testament to the New Testament. It speaks of Abraham, Enoch, Noah, and others.  We will find how God not wanting to destroy those walking in sin (Ezekiel 33:11) made way for them out of destruction by sacrificing His Son. But we have heard all this before and still see the population of the world walking carnally. As did those who were warned before the great flood. As were those who Abraham in Genesis 18:23 pleaded with our Lord not to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah if there were found Ten Righteous within them. In Genesis 19:29 before He destroyed the cities of the plain He remembered Abraham’s plea and removed Lot and his family just before the destruction. 

OPENING PRAYER by Robert 

Heavenly Father, here before your throne I place my sincere gratitude and thankfulness for the answer You placed before me. I ask Lord for your specific intervention into the lives of those who have received the Trumpeters Call as your warning. Break the scales from their eyes, remove the obstacles from their ears that may see and hear your truth as it is revealed. Reveal what is amiss in their hearts that it may be rectified and changed. Bring your truth before them, Lord, so they may genuinely understand your warnings and Grace. Give me strength and fervor to stand and sound the Trumpet as your humble servant. this I pray in your name Yeshua, Amen, and Amen

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

I am opening with commentary by Matthew Henry on Genesis 6:1-7 “The Spirit of God strove with men, by sending Enoch, Noah, and perhaps others, to preach to them; by waiting to be gracious, notwithstanding their rebellions; and by exciting alarm and convictions in their consciences. But the Lord declared that his Spirit should not thus strive with men always; he would leave them to be hardened in sin, and ripened for destruction. This he determined on because, man, was flesh: not only frail and feeble but carnal and depraved; having misused the noble powers of his soul to gratify his corrupt inclinations. God sees all the wickedness that is among the children of men; it cannot be hidden from him now; and if it is not repented of, it shall be made known by him shortly. The wickedness of a people is great indeed when noted sinners are men renowned among them. Very much sin was committed in all places, by all sorts of people. Anyone might see that the wickedness of man was great: but God saw that every imagination, or purpose, of the thoughts of man’s heart, was only evil continually. This was the bitter root, the corrupt spring. The heart was deceitful and desperately wicked; the principles were corrupt; the habits and dispositions evil. Their designs and devices were wicked. They did evil deliberately, contriving how to do mischief. There was no good among them. God saw man’s wickedness as one injured and wronged by it.“

Perhaps if we take a serious look at our modern day conditions, we might see some serious similarities. Now we don’t have An Abraham, Enoch or Noah placing before us God’s warning of what is to come. However, we do have the Holy Scriptures where Yeshua entrusted His Apostle John to bring forward the book of Revelation as a written testimony outlining the events vividly to take place. Placing before us the loudest sounding Watchman’s Trumpet warning the Flock will ever hear.

Here I found the second answer to the question. Yeshua placed before me as a Watchman, and I believe Matthew Henry states it appropriately as commentary: “If souls perish through his neglect of duty, he brings guilt upon himself. See what those have to answer for, who make excuses for sin, flatter sinners, and encourage them to believe they shall have peace, though they go on. How much wiser are men in their temporal than in their spiritual concerns! They set watchmen to guard their houses, and sentinels to warn of the enemies’ approach, but where the everlasting happiness or misery of the soul is at stake, they are offended if Watchmen obey their Master’s command, and give a faithful warning; they would rather perish, listening to smooth things.” As well I received the following through the Holy Spirit as a deeper warning for those believing like the house of Israel did. “Remember we have been adopted into the House of Israel, and now all the messages apply to us as well.” So when you read or hear warnings to the house of Israel, they apply to our walk, currently as Gods words are Eternal.  

The following is for all believer and non-believer, no matter where you believe you are in your walk with Yeshua within your lifes journey. These are the words delivered by the Holy Spirit, “and what he brings is directly from God.” This is His message, and I pray you to have an ear to hear and a heart to receive discern, understand and interpret: “Thus you speak, saying, if our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? I say unto them, as I live, saith the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways for why will ye die, O house of Israel? 

Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression. As for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth. When I shall say to the righteous that he shall surely live if he trusts to his own righteousness and commits iniquity, all his righteousness shall not be remembered, but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.” 

CLOSING STATEMENT by Robert

“Ok,” now it becomes clear all the messages over the last months to get our house in order, gather a deeper understanding and knowledge of our walk and real relationship with Yeshua now fall into place. The Lord has just defined what it means to be righteous and walk in righteousness. He has put it on the table, walk in my definition of righteousness being righteous or consider yourself in with the wicked who chose to walk and remain in sin. God’s message has warned not to be haughty thinking we’re on the right path not realizing as He searches our hearts sees where we really are. We are not to use the world’s definition of righteousness to define being righteous if we do it is the broad path to destruction. 

Here is my question; Is God, asking us to be perfect in our walk? “No,” that is impossible as humans. However, we do have a path to follow, and as Yeshua said few, there will find it Isaiah said we know what it takes to continue on it. Yeshua, as he ascended told us He would send a teacher to guide us, teach us and through his teaching, we will find that pathway. It is certain that God has no delight in the ruin of sinners, nor does he desire it. The Holy Spirit shows if sinners will destroy themselves, he will glorify himself in it, but he has no pleasure in it. He would rather sinners should turn and live than go on and die. 

It is here where we pose the question Abraham put before God “And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once. Peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said I will not destroy it for ten’s sake.” Genesis 18:32.

I bring this question unto the assemblies of the world knowing many will rebuke it, out of worldly egotism and sureness those within the Assembly fit God’s definition of having righteousness and being righteous? The question and I pray if it were ever asked within your Assembly; Would you find 10 righteous as God defines them as being righteous, not using the worldly definition of righteousness or righteous?

Times are such that as you look around, you find yourself surrounded by evil operating openly. You hear Lies being presented as truths and truths being scorned, the words of God being mocked and openly defiled, many not having a fear of God, followers being martyred for their open belief. You recognize multitudes proclaim their faith is with Yeshua, but walk seeking the favor of those in the world, out of fear of persecution or loss of favor and commerce. It is difficult to have an open conversation about God and His great works because you might be shunned by your peers or co-workers. These are the mark of those God is referring to as sinners and walking in evil, even though they profess love for Him and in their minds have a relationship, they prefer to walk in sin. The measure is not difficult to find in the Words of God, I’m sure their conscience is speaking loudly to them but being ignored.

Here, is where the counting to find 10 righteous walking in righteousness begins. “Oh,” it is easy to profess when we walk with others who proclaim the same but don’t forget, God, searches your heart and knows the intent and sincerity of it. You might fool the worldly, but you can’t fool God.

Like Peter (Matt. 26:34), when faced in times of peril, denied being a follower even when the woman declared him to be, and he did it as our Lord foretold he would three times. Was Peter as God states a sinner, “No” he is not but his actions even as an Apostle when faced with adversity and perhaps loss of life, demonstrated he was human and in weakness and fear turned to the flesh. In our times today, it takes a deep-seated relationship and love to honestly declare your position, but that is the level of righteousness God is talking about to be righteous. 

My mission as a Watchman is that of a messenger bringing forward what God sees as trouble in the Assemblies and uses many Watchmen to bring forward His message as warnings. He would rather sinners should turn and live than go on and die. He has said it, he has sworn it, that by these two immutable things, in both which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation. We have his word and his oath and, since he could swear by no greater, he swears by himself: As I live. 

Are you one of the 10 righteous? Are you sure, have you measured your walk? Yeshua defines it in Matt. 16:24 “then said Yeshua unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” There is no judgment in this article, but a challenge, to know if you have honored the two things Yeshua clearly set in place as a righteous walk as one of the ten?

Father in heaven, hear this petition placed before your throne. Strengthen those who have listened to your Son so they might as he did in your eyes deny himself and did not fear taking up his cross in your name Lord. Build within them Father the knowledge of your promises your word and oath to draw them to walk in righteousness as Yeshua has laid out for them. This I pray in the name of Yeshua, Amen and, Amen.
