“SAY NOTHING EVIL OF YOUR NEIGHBOR!”

 

Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. James 4:14.

 

PREAMBLE by Robert

Through our technology, I visited a time capsule of brilliant Spiritual workings of our Lord being shared by a man ( Dr. Peter Marshall) who was deeply touched by Yeshua and was able to express that love through his sermons. The time frame which I believe is a historical preview of troubled times to come. The world had entered into the second World war. However, the United States had not yet committed to being a part of it. The reasoning I desire to use here is a focus on the cultural changes spoken of in this visual presentation of that particular era 1930’s to 1949. The focus of this article and the video presentations I will bring forward are excerpts from a 1955 movie entitled “A Man Called Peter.” it featured Richard Todd portraying Peter Marshall’s true story of how one Man’s faith uplifted a nation. Research as well brought forward sermons which express the current state of our world.

This in no way is a movie review, as I watched this man’s faith unfold I realized certain scenes were playing out what was occurring in society at that time, however, were resonating as the same problems we are facing today only clothed in different ideologies. The following link showing Catherine Marshall speaking as a young college student at a rally about being a woman and her position in society. I believe there is a specific message about the emancipation of women and where they really are today. Perhaps how far down they really have stepped. 

I recognize this video will create some different opinions about what Catherine related.  However, I, like Dr. Marshall, believe it to be true. Women have stepped down from a pedestal God had placed them on.  For those Women who still may not know what was lost go to Proverbs 31:10-31 v.30 Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. v31 Give her of the fruit of her hands and let her own works praise her in the gates. 

Let me introduce you to the Lord Dr. Marshall amply describes in his opening sermon at the Church of Presidents in Washington D.C. which as he, I love, follow and work hard to share to all in a darkening world. 

I go to 1Timothy 2:5 to support this introduction and to recognize him as described Matthew 4:23 And Yeshua went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of disease among the people. Matthew 9:9 And as Yeshua passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom. And he said unto him, Follow me, And he arose and followed him. Matthew 9:10 And it came to pass, as Yeshua sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 

This is the Lord I follow, love and extoll with all who will listen about or read about. This is the Lord I know was crucified and resurrected and now sits at the right of God.  

OPENING PRAYER by Robert

Lord as our Father in heaven, hear our cries for your leadership, guidance, and knowledge so we might demonstrate a reliable description of your glory. Bring us through all the trials and tribulations Satan may place as roadblocks of the truth. Fill us with your words describing the power of your love which will lead to your grace and forgiveness and salvation the beginning of our actual journey as your servants. Father, deepen our fervor for your presence, share with us the spirit to advance into all the areas needing your light and words of truth to be divided. Brighten our zeal, so we like you will have those who walk in darkness and sin join us as we dine at your table. We pray this in your name Yeshua, Amen and Amen.

OPENING STATEMENT by Robert

Many are convinced religion and politics should never be mixed. In a small way, I agree. However, I also believe there must be God’s Laws mixed into the base foundation of our guiding constitutions and laws. We must always recognize there is solidity in keeping God in our governmental structures of ruling as a Republic or Democratic society.  I recently published the following article: https://romboughrobert.wordpress.com/2018/10/28/resurrection/ in it we find Life in Eternity exists, and the spirits of men are there with Yeshua and God. Here I elude to the fact humans do not like a change in some cases they fear it. One of those fears is death, and it’s finality the loss of all things carnal and the uncertainty of one’s fate in Eternity. This video is about a sermon Peter Marshall delivered to a military Academy just hours before Pearl Harbor was attacked bringing the US into the war. Dr. Marshall addressed Death, Giving to the young men in the gathering knowledge of what death is and what it means to us as humans. 

“Believe.” By believing in Yeshua as the Mediator between God and man, we gain comfort. The happiness of heaven is spoken of as in a father’s house. There are many mansions, for there are many sons to be brought to glory. Mansions are permanent dwellings. Yeshua will be the Finisher of that of which he is the Author or Beginner; if he has prepared the place for us, he will prepare us for it. Yeshua is the sinner’s Way to the Father and to heaven, in his person as God manifest in the flesh, in his atoning sacrifice, and as our Advocate. He is the Truth, as fulfilling all the prophecies of a Saviour; believing which, sinners come by him the Way. 

Matthew Henry (1662 – 1774) relates “Yeshua promises he would continue his care of his disciples. I will not leave you orphans, or fatherless, for though I leave you, yet I leave you this comfort, I will come to you. I will come speedily to you at my resurrection. I will come daily to you in my Spirit; in the tokens of his love, and visits of his grace. I will come certainly at the end of time. Those only that see Christ with an eye of faith shall see him for ever: the world sees him no more till his second coming, but his disciples have communion with him in his absence. These mysteries will be fully known in heaven. It is a further act of grace, that they should know it, and have the comfort of it. Having Christ’s commands, we must keep them. And having them in our heads, we must keep them in our hearts and lives. The surest evidence of our love for Christ is obedience to the laws of Christ. There are spiritual tokens of Christ and his love given to all believers. Where sincere devotion to Christ is in the heart, there will be obedience. Love will be a commanding, constraining principle; and where love is, duty follows from a principle of gratitude. God will not only love obedient believers, but he will take pleasure in enjoying them, will rest in love with them. He will be with them as his home. These privileges are confined to those whose faith worketh by love and whose devotion to Yeshua leads them to keep his commandments. Such are partakers of the Holy Spirit’s new-creating grace our

This sermon raises questions of what it is we as a people are doing and is giving us the answers so we might understand “I Will Not Leave you Orphans Or Fatherless”. This sermon gives us the reason to bring God back into our lives and Nations. 

Now I can see why the Holy Spirit reveals why Yeshua raises the expectations of his disciples to something beyond what they thought was their greatest happiness. His time was now short, he, therefore, spoke primarily to them. When we come to be sick, and to die, we may not be capable of talking much to those about us; such good counsel as we have to give, let us give while in health. Observe the prospect Yeshua had of an approaching conflict, not only with men but with the powers of darkness. Satan has something in us to perplex us with, for we have all sinned; but when he would disturb Yeshua, he found nothing sinful to help him. The best evidence of our love to the Father is, our doing as he has commanded us. Let us rejoice in Yeshua’s victories over Satan, the prince of this world. Let us copy the example of his love and obedience. Show yourself as a beacon on the hill, reflect our Savior’s light into this dark world to bring God back into our lives and countries and He will heal us and our nations.

CLOSING PRAYER by Robert

Father in heaven we rejoice in your promises given and kept. Knowing your spiritual presence through the Holy Spirit bringing us knowledge of your works and guidance. Thank you, Father, for your protective covering and ongoing wisdom so we might see you as you approach. We ask, Lord, for strength to share this knowledge with those trapped in darkness so they may know your presence. Place us in those areas most needing our demonstrations of your peace compassion and love so we might through them be a light in the darkness. We pray this in the name of Yeshua Amen and Amen. 

Remember these articles are given as warnings from a humble servant as God’s Watchman bringing His teachings to the flock of impending dangers. I pray for all to be covered with Yeshua’s blessings. Be at peace and in faith as you journey forward doing God’s calling and work. As Yeshua said, be as wise as a Serpent and gentle as a dove. Times are such now, we must all be aware of our surroundings, and who it is we are dealing with “And Yeshua through the Holy Spirit said unto me share this “My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”
